[RECAP]

"Damn, what did I do to make Birch's template jump so much?" I wondered aloud. "Stupid question—it's probably from the exploration yesterday and me figuring things out on my own." Now that I knew, it seemed like finishing the template would be easier than I originally thought.

"Training is what I will do for the next few months to years, and you know what? I think I'll document it all in a journal or something. Hehe, I just thought of something—once I'm done, I'll go trolling people with the journal."

"Alright training time."

Diary POV:

Year 1 Months 1 Day 1 - Log: 7:30 P.M - Week 1

First things first this day will be my birthday. Now that that is out of the way lets start... Okay, so remember when I said that I would train all day? Yeah, no, there is no way I'll be able to keep doing this kind of training for a full day. But that doesn't mean I would stop; I'll just reduce it so that it poses a challenge but doesn't end up killing me from exhaustion and muscle tears. Once I find steady ground, I'll increase the load.

Apart from that, Empy got familiar with her own habitat that the home made for her. As for Zorua, he just followed me around, seeming to contemplate something. Wonder what?

Oh, and I tried my hand at cooking fish. I can only say I didn't burn it, which is an improvement. Also, it seems like the home speeds up the reproduction of beings inside it. I mean, I brought back five, and that quintupled in a day. I just don't know if that's a permanent thing, if it's for every being, or just natural animalistic ones.

Year 1 Months 1 Day 3 - Log: 8:10 P.M

Okay, so a few days have gone by since my first entry, and I'm glad to say—well, write—that I've made a few discoveries about where we are and how it works, even if it's just a little bit.

First thing is, I found a good starting ground for me. All I need to do now is stay committed. I also discovered that the home does have natural resources like iron, but they are really scarce and rare to find. That's all I can say about it for now since I literally found a small amount earlier while exploring a Hisuian Zorua's most natural and optimized habitat. Zorua seemed to enjoy it there too.

Second thing, Empy started to train her instincts, well, those that a natural penguin has, like swimming. She seems to really like doing that.

Third thing, my cooking got a little better. At least there's a taste to the food now that won't make someone throw up. I also found that the fishes I brought here have a ravine to hang out in, but it's weird. I can't spot or tell how deep the ravine goes; it just seems to keep going.

Year 1 Months 1 Day 7 - Log 6:20 P.M - End of Week 1

Alright, new entry. This time it's a little different since I'm doing this just a little before dinner, and I'll try to bring out the taste in the Pinap Berry and a cooked fish. I already have the ingredients ready to cook, but I think there's something weird with those fish. I mean, what kind of fish just lets you take them without a hunt or anything, while others go as deep as possible to try and leave?

Well, anyway, an update about me: the effects of the training I'm doing are somewhat showing. It's nothing big, but my limits have increased, so I think it's time to increase the workload. I'll just keep doing that until it physically shows, like abs or genuine muscle, if I can even get those. All I know is that I don't want to end up being only muscle, so I'll start studying other things besides habitats.

Apart from that, Empy seems to have gotten used to that beachy habitat and enjoys swimming, even if she isn't fast. But hey, I can't blame her; she's only a week old. She and Zorua also seem to be getting closer, and they both like hanging around that ravine with all the fish in it. Huh, who knew that the anti-social Zorua could get a friend?

Year 1 Months 1 Day 14 - Log 8:00 P.M -End of Week 2

Okay, so this entry is at the end of week 2 of the training period, and there are a few things to update on. The most important thing is that I was right about the fish I brought here for food—they are weird, or more like my luck is weird.

Here's what happened: I brought those fish that I caught by accident into the home, and today I got curious enough to try my Poke Inspect on them. Guess what? It worked on one of the fish I accidentally caught. Apparently, that one fish was a Relicanth! Cool, right? It doesn't stop there. There were two others that looked very similar, and I'm guessing they are coelacanths since Relicanths are supposed to be based on coelacanths. But the other two are different too, and I don't know what they are, just that they look silvery in color and are around four feet in length. All I can say about the taste is that the coelacanths aren't as good as the silvery-looking fish, so we have been eating those mostly.

Anyway, thanks to the home, all the fish have started to reproduce and multiply, so there is no lack of them in that small ravine that I found out is connected to Empy's habitat. Empy, by the way, seems to be getting faster as she grows. We're also going to start her training in hunting, mostly the silvery-looking fish since she refuses to hunt the coelacanths. Plus, she made friends with the Relicanth that just kind of lives here now.

As for Zorua, he still seems to be contemplating something, but apart from that, we have actually gotten closer over the week. But he still seems hesitant about something.

Now onto me. All I have to say is that I can now swing a sword properly. I don't know if that's fast or slow since I've never really had anyone to compare to. I also started a project concerning the berries that I have on hand now—the Pinap and Oran Berries. I want to see if I can create a new kind of berry by crossbreeding or splicing their DNA to create a new berry, maybe amplifying the effects of one of the berries. I think I will specifically make a new book on these berries, created or not, so it would all be in one place. Yay, a new hobby for now, at least until I can get my hands on new ingredients.

Year 1 Months 1 Day 21 - Log 8:10 P.M - End of Week 3

So I have some good and bad news this time. Good news: I found an iron and dusk stone deposit near Zorua's habitat. It's... growing... there. The bad news is that the process is slow, and there isn't much of it at the moment. I think there will be more with time, and it'll be purer than what I could find elsewhere.

Now some more good news: the exercises I have been doing are going well. But the bad news is that my food intake seems to have increased. Even if it isn't by much, it's still a few 2 to 3 plates more than usual, and what I have here is starting to become bland. I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way. So, I think it will soon be time to leave and get myself some more kinds of food, maybe in the form of different berries. I also think I should do this kind of thing every month or so.

Now about Empy: her training has been going well, but she is still annoyed that fish are able to escape her, although she can catch them if the fish are busy doing something else. And Zorua, well, he's being himself but he's been acting weird lately.

And now the most important part: my project for those two berries has yet to start since I decided to study them properly before I do something more significant with them. The only thing I have done to the berries was making both pineapple and orange seeds, so I now have pineapples and oranges added to my list of ingredients.

Year 1 Months 1 Day 28 - Log 8:15 P.M - End of Week 4

This entry marks the end of the first month since I have been in this world. As I mentioned before, I promised to document my experiences. Today, I had a full-day excursion, and let me tell you, it was worth every bit of effort.

I started by gathering new and different kinds of berries using my compass. This took most of my time since I was traversing unfamiliar terrain. My yield included a cherry-like berry, a berry resembling a red apple with a yellow bottom, a berry that looks like a pink banana, and a berry resembling a lemon with brown spots. Based on my past experiences, I believe these are, in order, the Cheri berry, Leppa berry, Nanab berry, and Sitrus berry.

Later, I found nine chickens near a nearby village. I attempted to nab two of each gender but failed as they ran away cackling. I decided to leave them be for two reasons: I didn't want to get caught stealing, and I didn't want to reveal myself prematurely. However, I did get the berries, and now I know there are people here and where to find them.

After my failed attempt at chicken theft, I wandered around aimlessly, yet remained cautious of my surroundings and the people. As a wise man once said, "constant vigilance." My caution paid off since around 5 P.M. I stumbled upon a battle between a colony of Combee and a group of Starly with a few Staravia. It seemed the Starly group wanted the Combee's honey.

I waited to see how the battle would play out, hoping to acquire some Combee for their honey. Unfortunately, it turned into a massacre for the Combee, who soon fled after the Staravia killed their Vespiquen leader. I managed to track a few Combee afterward and found a lone female. I bribed her with the promise of a safe home and a lifetime of resources and berries for her to grow. She agreed after I promised to help her become strong enough to fend off predators. I gathered a few followers around me, and thus, my excursion for the month ended.

Now, my primary task is to help the Combee grow strong and build a nest for her. I will study the berries properly before creating variant seeds, just as I did with the other two berries.

Year 1 Months 2 Day 35 - Log 7:15 P.M - End of Week 5

It's been a week since the Combee incident. I've named her Vulma, and we finished her nest earlier in the week. Apart from that, I discovered why Zorua was acting weird—he apparently thought he was being cast out. I'm not sure why he thought that, but I believe he'll open up one day. I also named him Sekiro, and surprisingly, he didn't refuse—first try, baby!

In other news, Empy and Vulma started their training, focusing on building a solid foundation with weights and related exercises. The day after we began, Sekiro asked if he could join the training as well. It quickly became competitive among them. I think this basic training will help them learn moves at a fundamental level, even if that's not our main focus. Like the move endure somehow all three of them managed to learned it.

As for my training, I increased the load. However, I've encountered a problem with the birch template, which has stalled at 99% for a while now, and it's starting to annoy me. On the bright side, the food I make has significantly improved in flavor since I first started, especially now that I have honey. Additionally, I've noticed that while writing this journal, I've been using Poké speech somehow.

Regarding the berries I brought back, I created new variant seeds from them—specifically the Cherry, Apple, Banana, and Lemon seeds. Upon closer inspection, I realized that the Nanab Berry is unique compared to the others, likely due to the environment where it grows.

Year 1 Months 2 Day 42 - Log 7:26 P.M - End of Week 6

This week, I decided to take a break and try to figure out why my birch template is no longer advancing. Even though I took a break, the other three continued their training with my guidance. I noticed something interesting about why they are so competitive with each other.

First, Vulma is going through this training so she never has to experience what she went through again. Second, Empy is determined to train hard so she can meet and explore new places. She pushes herself from day to night, and I often have to make her sleep to get her to stop. Third, Sekiro is different—he trains hard because he doesn't want to be left behind. He's afraid of being overlooked and wants to be recognized by those around him. Although I don't fully agree with his motivation, it helps since he's started to open up a little. It's something I'll have to address later.

But now, what about me? Why am I doing what I am doing? I've been thinking about it all week, and I believe I have figured out a layout of what I want to do. I want to be capable enough to fight for myself. I want to be able to provide when others can't provide for themselves. I want to be kind but wise and knowledgeable enough not to be taken advantage of. What I want is simple really—I want to be myself, be free, be capable of handling anything that comes my way, I want an adventure like none has ever had before and most importantly, I want to do it my way. And to get what I want I will need strength, more strength than I currently have.

Year 1 Months 2 Day 49 - Log 7:44 P.M - End of Week 7

I went back to training this week, but not before a few surprises. First, I completed Birch's template, which granted me a Hoenn Pokédex and his memories. The information was helpful, though it did give me a slight headache. I don't feel much different after receiving the memories, but I also received an Affinity Introduction Manual.

Another surprise was completing the hidden achievement: The Goal, MY GOAL. This awarded me 10 template tickets and 10 item tickets. The templates I rolled are relatively normal compared to my first two from the RoR universe. I received:

1. Kurokiba Ryo

2. Shinomiya Kojiro

3. Baki Hanma

4. Shintaro Midorima

5. Sekimori Hitoshi

6. Tsutomu Iwamura

7. Ohma Tokita

8. Cynthia

9. Bunshichi Tanba

10. Rin Itoshi

As a bonus, I also got Cayde-6, the only character I recognize as a game character and not a real person I could have searched online before.

The items I received were quite different from what I expected:

1. Four Enigma Berries

2. Combining two for a total of 8,994 Poké Dollars.

3. A Groundium-Z

4. Sixteen Electric Tera Shards

5. A Lucarionite

6. A Gardevoirite

7. Two Naughty Mints

8. Four Shell Bells

9. A Kitchen Kit

For the bonus, I got a Nexus Orb, though there's a warning next to it, so I'll leave it alone for now. After opening my inventory again, I brought out the Mega Stones, the Mints, the Enigma Berries, the Splash Plate, the Shell Bells, the Steel Memory, and, most importantly, the Kitchen Kit.

Apart from that, I chose a new template to replace Birch's, and I went with Midorima's. I wanted to figure out cooking on my own and focus on my more fighting and technical templates that i already have equipped. It was a tough choice between Cynthia, Midorima, Itoshi and Cayde-6, though, but I ended up selecting Shintaro Midorima. He's an amazing shooter, and even though it's for basketball, his impeccable accuracy could be help in many ways. Also my other 2 templates have reached 10% each.

Year 1 Months 2 Day 56 - Log 7:46 P.M - End of Week 8

We are reaching the end of the month, and as promised, I went exploring. This time, the experience was more frightening as I ran into an alpha Floatzel scavenging for branches, for what i assume to be it's nest. Luckily, I survived the encounter. Apart from that, I also went back to the settlement from last week to try and steal a pair of chickens. This time, I succeeded in catching a female chicken, a male chicken, a few eggs and a ball while staying out of view. However, this will be the last time I can do this, as the villagers will likely be more vigilant if they notice. After bringing my loot back, I should mention that I'm also making a map as I go, which helps a lot.

Now, onto the more technical stuff I've done during the week. I made a basketball hoop out of wood and started practicing the Midorima template, which is already 25% complete. My better physique helps, but there is still a lot to learn from his template, including his basketball skills and knowledge in chemistry, biology, chess, music, and astrology. However, most of this knowledge, aside from basketball, chess, and music, can be obtained from the Nikola Tesla template, which is better in there of what he knows.

Writing this now, I realize I also need to make a chess set. Not only would it benefit me, but it would also help the others by improving their strategic thinking. Plus, it's fun.

Year 1 Months 3 Day 63 - Log 8:02 P.M - End of Week 9

Finally all done, the chess set and basketball net I made was useful. The three pokemon blew off some steam and had fun for the first time in while. And me I was progressing in my template nicely, since I have been studying with the Tesla template it went even faster.

Now, all I needed was practical usage to the my chemistry and biology knowledge. But that's easy enough since my pokemon seem to get themselves in pickle every so often when it gets very competitive.

Anyway my cooking got better and soon we can have chicken added to the menu after I already noticed new fresh eggs that the chickens layed. Once it hatches I'll study molecular gastronomy to help with the chemistry side, I mean I may not be a miracle chef but I'm getting there.

Year 1 Months 3 Day 70 - Log 7:47 P.M - End of Week 10

It's been another week, and I can successfully say that I have mastered basic basketball fundamentals skills all that's left now are midorima's skills in basketball, i used rocks if you're wondering. For the cooking plan, it will take another week or so for the eggs to hatch, and even then it would take another month for it to start a steady supply.

Onto the training I have been doing. Recently, I have reached as a…. block on what I can currently do exercise wise, so until I can build myself a gravity machine I will start training the sword more than my body. As for the others it will take them at least another month to start there actual training in moves or any other related.

And I also added daily chess matches along with baketball games between me and my pokemon for training that isn't physical such as strategy, accuracy, and the spot decisions. Wouldn't think it would be this useful, so when I get the chance I will make a soccer field but I can't for now since I need rubber.

Year 1 Months 3 Day 77 - Log 7:50 P.M - End of Week 11

This week, I made an exciting discovery about the Relicanth and Coelacanth species: they naturally produce oil, which is the key material needed to make rubber, something I can't produce on my own just yet. To make rubber, I need coal, which I can obtain by carbonizing wood, and hydrocarbon, made from oil and gas. This discovery happened when Empy came to me concerned about her friend, a Coelacanth, who turned out to be pregnant. During the tests, I found that they naturally produce oil, among other things.

I also discovered that having mostly fish in my home and not knowing how to properly cook it as a meal or dish was a bad thing. So, I will practice my cooking with fish, and once I'm done with the Midorima template, I will equip either the Hitoshi or Ryo template.

Aside from that, my templates have all progressed:

Midorima's template is now at 75%, leaving his basketball, musical, and astrology knowledge and skills to complete. Kojirou's template is at 30%, granting me the ability to use Senjou Mosu and enhanced hearing. Tesla's template is at 20%.

I'm excited, truly.

Year 1 Months 3 Day 84 - Log 8:06 P.M - End of Week 12

Update for the week: The coelacanth gave birth on the first day, producing 13 baby coelacanths—4 females and 9 males. Additionally, I safely extracted oil from the coelacanths and relicanths and made synthetic rubber with the remaining necessary materials. It wasn't very difficult.

For my swordsmanship training, I have started practicing more complex stances and forms. I am also incorporating Senjou Muso techniques. Initially, I didn't think it would be useful, but now I realize I can gain battle experience using Kojiro's training memories and Birch's memories of pokemon.

Year 1 Months 3 Day 91 - Log 10:09 P.M - End of Week 13

This month's excursion went smoothly; however, very little happened this time. All I have to report is that the settlement I took those chickens from appears to have recovered. I also nabbed a few plants that I recognized, including some prep-up plants and a king's leaf. These seemed rarer than the other plants around. This time, I stayed until nightfall to see the stars, but I was unlucky as it was cloudy.

I guess I will have to come back over the next few months to see them and study them when I can. Astrology is important to finish my template properly.

Year 1 Months 4 Day 98 - Log 10:13 P.M - End of Week 14

After last week's excursion, I decided to add a goal for this month: finishing Midorima's template. Apart from that, the prep-up plant and king's leaf started growing, and I discovered why the king's leaf is rare. It requires five different conditions to thrive, and its productivity is low, meaning it doesn't produce pollen quickly or in large quantities. After making this discovery, I modified the plant to produce pollen at a faster rate without reducing its medicinal boosting capabilities.

Additionally, I started practicing basketball more seriously, made a wooden flute for music practice, and created a makeshift telescope to observe the stars better and map them out. As a result, I cut the time I practiced my swordsmanship, but I didn't stop completely.

I also went out every night to observe the stars and noticed that there is only one nearby moon, with no other planets in the vicinity. I'll need to make a better telescope to check properly at a later date. On the other hand, I did spot a constellation resembling a certain white pony, leading me to guess that there are different constellations of legendaries each month.

Year 1 Months 4 Day 105 - Log 10:04 P.M - End of Week 15

So, it turns out that the constellations change every week rather than every month. This tells me two things: first, that this planet might spin much faster than Earth, though that seems unlikely; and second, that there are many more stars in space, which is more probable given that the stars form constellations of legendary and mythical Pokémon. I've noticed that in this world, the color of a star is based on the typing of the Pokémon the constellation forms, covering all 18 types. That's mostly it for astrometry for now. I'm still missing planetology and exoplanetology—basically, how planets form, how many there are, and where they exist. For now, I need to focus on astrometry, the mapping of the stars.

For astrogeology, it consists of materials I already know about: comet shards, stardust, and mega stones, which are from space. The mega stones are probably from the constellations themselves, indicating that not only mythical and legendary Pokémon form constellations but also normal Pokémon. Regarding astrobiology, I'm aware of Deoxys, Eternatus, Cosmog, Minior, Solrock, Lunatone, Staryu, and the Clefairy line. However, there are probably many more that aren't lost in space. All that's left now is astrophysics, and once I'm done with that, I will start looking into music more deeply.

Not much left to go, really. Since I already know the basics of music from my past life, it should just require some practice for me to finish the music part of the template. As for basketball, it's either I practice on my own or play against Vulma, Empy, and Sekiro, who have learned to play. However, they aren't allowed to use moves, as the ball wouldn't be able to handle it.

Year 1 Months 4 Day 112 - Log 10:21 P.M - End of Week 16

This week, I learned that it is pretty much impossible to study astrophysics accurately since most of it is speculative. To get precise data, I would need to get closer to space. As a workaround, I am using Senjou Muso to simulate an environment full of stars based on the knowledge I have from the template and my own discoveries in Astrophysics, Cosmology, Spectroscopy, Photometry, Heliophysics, Helioseismology, Asteroseismology and Mega Stones since I have different ones . A good thing about this is that if I can simulate an environment where I can train further, I will be prepared even if it is only an imaginary place. I wonder if this is combinable with Baki's version of shadow boxing.

With that discovery, I also simulated different instruments to study music. I documented their composition in case I ever need it, focusing on classical music for now since that's what I need to finish this template. I plan to explore more genres in the future when I have the time to get my groove on. Meanwhile, I will start training again with my wooden sword and make a metal one for excursions to get a feel for something heavier than a piece of wood.

Year 1 Months 4 Day 119 - Log 10:30 P.M - End of Week 17

This month, I skipped my usual excursion to focus on finishing my template, which is now 95% complete. The only part missing is mastering Midorima's more advanced basketball skills, which should take me a week or two to perfect with Senjou Muso, as my Pokémon are simply not tall enough. Actually, if I let them use their move sets on other things besides the ball to get higher or faster, it might make things more challenging. Currently, the scoreboard is 9-0 in my favor without using moves, as it's becoming too easy for me. Letting them use their move sets more will help them train and improve.

My other templates have reached 50% for Kojirou's and 35% for Tesla's, granting me his enhanced memory. This enhanced memory is not like the mind palace at all; in fact, it is better. It allows me to recall anything while stimulating different ideas in a mix-and-match fashion. For example, if I study numbers more deeply, my studies in related subjects like science or math will start to form theories that I can revisit and confirm later.

Few Things to Say:

- This chapter was around 4 900 words.

- The next chapters is going to be shorter.

- Sorry about the delay, I didn't think there would be that many movies, most will be altered and a lot of it will be ignored but his actions will carry weight, whatever that may mean to you.

- Pokémon is going to be a world that is going to pass faster than the others since its more to get ready for other worlds while having fun while at it.

- If you have something to suggest for any of the Gacha spins then it would be much appreciated. (ability/skills/Pokémon items or just normal items)

- I wont be dropping this and this will be the FF I will make for probably a long time. And I will try to speed up the updates for the chapters.

- Now I need to say this before anyone gets mad. The Mc is not OP the only ability he has is mind based mostly to enhance himself by himself and he principal way of attack is swordmanhip, sasaki's.
