Within Moon city's residential district was a building, one with two bedrooms, a single bathroom, a kitchen and a living room. In this very building was a man that was pacing back and fourth near the stairs, he stood at a height of 179 cm. The man had an athletic build, due to working multiple jobs and lifting heavy objects around all day. He had messy black hair and blue eyes with a tint of purple. He was wearing a brown suit, that had stitches here and there, but he didn't mind wearing it. From time to time, the man would look at his old wrist watch, checking the time.
The man was Zyran Gravel and the house he was in was the one he inherited from his deceased parents, while the suit he was wearing belonged to his father. It has been five years since their parents died. Life hasn't been easy on the Gravel siblings, especially Zyran. He had to quit school and start working odd jobs. He had worked as a babysitter, assisted in construction sites, washed dishes in restaurants, did some pizza delivery and even worked in the zoo to clean the animal cages. He did all those jobs because he didn't want his sister to starve, all so that she could finish school and build a better life. One where they wouldn't have to worry about what to eat at night or wearing old clothes.
"Alora!, What's taking you so long?". Asked Zyran, he has been waiting for his sister for the past ten minutes.
"Ten more minutes!". Responded a sweet voice from upstairs.
'She said that ten minutes ago, sigh'. Thought Zyran with a tired sigh. Realising that he'd be waiting another ten minutes, he decided to sit on the bottom steps of the stairs and wait for his sister to finish. You see, tonight Zyran was taking his sister out to eat outside after he got a bonus on his latest job. He always made sure to spoil his sister from time to time, so that she doesn't feel left out when her friends brag about eating at famous restaurants.
Just then, Zyran could hear the clicking of shoes upstairs, making his ears perk up. He got up and looked upstairs in anticipation, he wanted to see what his sister's been doing for her to take this long. And he wasn't disappointed.
Walking down the stairs, was a beautiful young woman, who stood at a height of 169 cm. She had long dark hair that flowed down all the way to her buttocks and clear ocean blue eyes. Her skin was white and fair, almost resembling jade. She wore a blue dress that went all the way down to her knees, showcasing her gorgeous long legs. The blue dress worked well to emphasize her beautiful blue eyes. She finished the look with a pair of white heels, that had blue stones embedded on them. She was in all honesty, beautiful.
"So... What do you think?". She asked, as she held the helm of her dress and twisted around. Flashing him a nervous smile.
"You look...", Zyran bit his tongue after almost saying something that shouldn't be said between siblings. 'She's your sister damnit!'. He mentally scolded himself.
"What?". She asked, her clear blue eyes focused on him. Waiting in anticipation for what he was going to say.
"Uhm", he slightly pulled the collar of his suit. "You look beautiful, Alora". He said in earnest, but finished the rest inside. As for what he said, only he knew.
It seemed that answer highly satisfied Alora, as she jumped and hugged her brother. "Thank you, big bro". She said with a toothy smile. "I also love the dress you bought me".
She was grateful for having a brother like Zyran. He gave up school for the both of them and went out to work hard so that they had something to eat and for her to continue going to school. When their parents died, she was devastated, she was young back then, but smart enough to realise that she and her brother were going to live a hard life moving forward. Her brother took the heavy burden of raising her while giving up on his future. Watching him work hard and coming home tired made her heart ache.
So, to not put his efforts to waste. She made sure to study hard and help out around the house. It's the least she could do after all he has done for her. Alora buried her face on her brother's chest and tightened her hug.
Zyran could feel that something wasn't right after his sister stayed quiet for a while. He ignored the sensation of having her C cup pressed against him and gently pushed her away, only to see her teary eyes. His heart stung when he saw this.
"Alora". He gently held her face. "What's wrong?, did I do something wrong?". He softly asked, using his thumbs to wipe her tears.
Realising that she was worrying her brother. She pulled away from him and smiled, "It's nothing, I was just happy for having the best brother in the world". She said while wiping her teary eyes. "Now, we should go, it's getting late". She said that, while grabbing his hand and walking towards the door.
Zyran was still worried about his sister but, since she said she was okay then there was nothing to worry about. ' I'll keep an eye on her'.
They walked out of the house and stopped near the road, where Zyran hailed a taxi for them. He opened the door for his sister to get in first and then followed behind.
"Take us to La Cuisine". Said Zyran, as he tried to get comfortable in the cab. As for Alora, she chose to rest her head on his shoulder. She was that clingy.
"Alright sir". Said the cab driver as he started to drive. He was an Oldman, with white hair and brown eyes. But he still looked lively. "Taking your beautiful girlfriend on a date, sir?". Asked the cab driver, trying to make some small talk. He could see the clingy Alora through the rear view mirror, 'To be young again'. He thought.
Hearing what the cab driver said made Alora's cheeks flush. But she still stubbornly kept her head resting on her brother's shoulder.
"Cough... She's not my girlfriend sir, She's my sister". Explained Zyran after making a light cough. He also had a slight blush.
"Oh, my apologies. I'm not used to seeing siblings who are that close". The cab driver apologised after hearing the blunder he made.
Seeing that the atmosphere was getting a bit awkward. The cab driver decided to turn on the radio. The rest of the drive was quiet, with only the radio playing some calming music.

When the cab finally arrived at La Cuisine. Zyran paid the cab fair and then got off, not forgetting to help his sister out. They then walked towards the restaurant. After their reservation was confirmed, they were led to their table by one of the restaurant's waitresses. She was a woman in her twenties, standing at a height of 169 cm, with short brown hair and dark brown eyes. She handed them their menu.
"Please call for me once you've picked what you'd like to order". She said with a warm smile, her eyes lingering on Zyran a little longer than they should. Something Alora's keen eyes didn't miss. She was annoyed but, careful enough not to let her brother notice it.
Even though, he wore an old, worn out suit. Zyran was still a handsome 21 year old male. His blue eyes with a unique purple tint and prominent jaw line, made him very appealing to the opposite sex. He was just too dense to notice it or maybe he did and just didn't care. Either way, he's possessive sister didn't like it when he attracted other women's attention, as for why she didn't like it, her young heart didn't know.
"What would you like to order?". Asked Zyran to his sister, as he looked up from his menu. "Hey, Alora!". said Zyran, waving his hand Infront of Alora's face after noticing her dazed state.
"What?". Asked Alora.
"Why the frown and what were you thinking about so deeply?". He asked.
"I-its nothing". She stammered and hurriedly shook her head, while making an embarrassed smile. "Sorry, I guess it's been a while since I've been to a fancy establishment". She made up a lie. Yes, Alora lied to her brother. Well she wasn't technically lying, since it's been months since her brother took her out to a bite. Mind you, she wasn't complaining. She's quite grateful for all he's done for her.
"Bro, are you sure it's okay for us to be spending so lavishly?. I mean, shouldn't we be saving up all this money for future uses or when something bad happens, like, I don't know, an accident". Asked Alora, after taking a look at the menu and noting all the prices.
Hearing his sister's concerns, made Zyran smile. "I know that it's important to save up some money incase of emergencies. And were already doing that but, today I got a large bonus and really wanted us to go out together and eat. We barely talked for the past few months since I would come home late and tired and you had to sleep early for school. So let me have this and don't worry about the bills, big bro will handle it". He explained to her.
Seeing that she won't be able to convince him, she decided to go with the flow and told him what she would like to eat.
Zyran noticed that she ordered on the cheaper section of the menu but didn't say anything about it. He called for the waitress from earlier, who happily took their order. As she took the menu from Zyran, she purposely made it so that their hands brushed against each other.
An action that made the corner of Alora's lips twitch in annoyance.
Zyran, who was oblivious to his sister's annoyance, decided to make some small talk as they waited for the food to arrive. "How's school?, Are you making any new friends?".
Alora brushed off her annoyance and replied, "Well I'm not doing badly if that's what your concerned about, in fact, your little sister is at the top of her class. So you shouldn't be worrying about my grades". She rose her chin up, her tone, arrogant. At least, she tried to come off as arrogant. 'Who needs friends anyway.
"That's great, I always knew my little sister was a genius". Her words made Zyran really happy, he always knew that his sister was smarter than him. Which reinforced his decision of quitting school and letting her continue her studies.
"H-hey! That's no fair". Alora's cheeks turned partially red, as she lowered her head and played with her fingers.
"What?". Asked the ever clueless Zyran. Or was he?.
"Oh look!, the foods here", Alora hurriedly changed the topic.
And she wasn't wrong, the food had arrived. The waitress, who's name was Sofia, placed their food on the table and then said ,"Please enjoy the food, if there's anything else you need I'll be a call away". She then lingered for a few moments, obviously looking at Zyran.
"That would be all, thank you". Said Alora with a smile that wasn't a smile. She was shooing the waitress away.
The waitress looked at Alora for the first time since they arrived at the restaurant, still maintaining her warm smile. "You sure?". She asked.
"Yes". Invisible spark's were flying in the air and Zyran was starting to notice it.
"In that case, I'll take my leave". The waitress then turned around and left.
"Hmph!". Alora, humphed in victory after winning the silent war.
"What was that about?".
"It's a girl thing, don't worry about it".
"Alright then, in that case we should eat before the food gets cold".
Zyran had ordered Whole Baked Sea Bass With Lemon Potatoes and a Shrimp Ceviche.
While Alora had ordered Crispy Fried Oysters With Cornmeal Batter and a Crab Oscar Steak Topping. The food looked delicious. And so, the siblings dug in and devoured their food. Though carefull enough not to embarrass themselves.

A few buildings away from the restaurant, on an empty alley, something strange began to happen. The air started to twist, as space began to distort. A few seconds later a door like entrance begun to form, it's inside completely dark, resembling the empty void. From within the door came out a pale man or something that resembled a man, standing at 180 cm. He had seaweed like brown hair and green eyes with slits. He wore a white suit and carried a lazy smile on his face. He could have been considered normal even with the slit like eyes but, that's not all the man had. He also has two brown horns protruding from the side of his head, that went to the front of his head and then bent upward and lastly he had a long tail that ended with a sharp tip. That 'man' was Croviel and he was a demon. The door like fissure behind him was a gate, that connected the realm of demons to the realm of humans.
Croviel lingered near the gate for a few moments. He then took a deep breath and then...
"Ptooey!". He spat in disgust.
"As I've been told, the air in the human world is foul and disgusting, how do they even breathe this nonsense?. This humans will never cease to amaze me, not only are they pitifully weak and fragile. They also live their lives like pigs". Croviel had a charming voice, unfortunately his words were another story. He was tempted to go back and drown himself in his harem that's filled with beauties of all types, than to spend another second in this realm of pigs, just the smell alone was enough to make him almost vomit.
A moment later, another demon stepped through the gate, this one bigger. The huge, red skinned creature was standing on a height of 350 cm (Twice the height of an average male), it had long white hair, accompanied by four bulky arms, that ended with razor sharp claws and two red beaming eyes, followed by two canine like teeth sticking out of its lower jaw and long tail with a sharp tip. He only wore loose rags to cover his privates, not that he minded flashing his thing. The demon was huge and terrifying, just looking at it would cause a shiver to run down your spine. With those sharp claws that could easily tear through flesh and sharp canine like teeth that could bite through steel, made this demon a walking slaughter house. And that is what it was here for... To indiscriminately slaughter.
Croviel noticed the demon and stepped aside from it, making sure to cover his nose. " You know Juggernaut, you and this pigsty don't smell that different, in fact, this might be your home".
"Grrrr". Juggernaut made a low growl, completely ignoring Croviel's provocations.
Seconds later, more demons started stepping out of the gate, there was 30 of them in total. This one's, smaller and scrawnier, but demons none the less, so they were anything but weak. They stood at a height of 157 cm. Their skin colour ranging from blue, green, brown and black. They had the usual demonic characteristics, which were, sharp claws, fangs, a long tail with a sharp tip and horns. And they were... Ugly. Yes, this scrawny little demons at the bottom of the hierarchy were absolutely hideous. Hideous and bold which added to their demonic charm. Yes, the uglier the better.
The imps are the weakest demons in demon society, falling into the lower class. But at the same time, they have the potential to become powerful middle class demons, which would only be possible if they proved their worth to the demon lord and earned his favour, enough for him to help them through their evolution to the next class.
After stepping out of the gate, the Imps immediately began to fall in line and prepared to receive their orders from Croviel, who is the one in charge of the whole operation.
Croviel did not keep them waiting, He placed his hands behind his back and then proceeded to literally look down on the Imps. Except Juggernaut who was taller than him.
With his lazy smile still on his face, he began to speak."Our Demon Lord Kraven, has gifted us with a very important mission" Croviel stopped to check if he had their attention, only to notice that Juggernaut wasn't even looking at him, which put a frown on his face. He then decided to ignore the red giant and continued " Capture as many humans as possible. But, you also have the option of slaughtering one or two, we are demons after all, it's what we do. Remember to make haste, Before 'they' arrive and ruin everything. If this mission fails, forget going back, you will be killed either way".
When he said 'they', the imps had their spines shivering in fear, while Juggernaut only released a low growl. The 'they', they were referring to was The Yeager Corps. Humanities defence against demon invasions. Many of their kind had fallen when TYC entered the picture. Their members are just that strong, once they arrive, it's over for the demons.
"Now go! Don't waste time, I'm sure they have noticed our arrival already". He urged them.
The Imps began to make their way out of the alley, excited about the chaos they were about to cause.
"Juggernaut, You know your task. Just don't over do it".
Juggernaut only responded with a snort. He bent his knees and then...
'Boom'.
He jumped and soared into the sky, leaving a small crater on the ground. As for Croviel... He summoned his black leathery wings and also took to the sky.
"LET THE MASSACRE BEGIN!!!".
