Kapitel 21: Farewell 1

"Me? Annoying? How?" Sheen's face was full of anger and question.

How can her cousin say that to her?

But even though it felt like she was disrespected for feeling her feelings, she needs to know why.

Maybe it'll help her somehow.

"You, you know what? You're not even 50% sure of your feelings towards Kady or Wyn. I know that you like Wyn and I also know that you still have feelings for Kady. For Pete's sake, he's your first love, it really will take you a century before you can get over him. So, let yourself fall in love with some other guy and that is Wyn. Wyn's always there for you, and let me tell you, meeting him at this time, it's fate. If it was not Wyn, do you think he will care about you? All he will ever care about is his job, which is to manipulate you into marriage with another guy," Bea blurted out non-stop.

She did not care about Sheen looking so down because of the truths that she said.

"So, now what? I told you to sort things out before leaving. Not like this, you're giving Wyn mixed signals. If you didn't like him, tell him. If he's just a friend, then tell him."

Sheen started to fold her clothes before answering.

"I am not giving him mixed signals. He's the one who wants to stick around. And now that you tell me, yes, I like Kady more. Haven't you fell in love before? You know that black magic, where even though he's the worst person on earth, you still love him because you know that their flaw does not outweigh their good side? That's it, and yes, I still hope that one day, I will be the bride of the stupid-arrogant-good-for-nothing-guy. Sorry for bursting your bubble for Wyn, but that is the reason why I want to get away from them, from Kady. Because I should not be hoping for such thing," Sheen did not even look at Bea who has the most shocked face.

She was not ready to hear Sheen say that she still does like Kady.

She thought it was just a hint that Sheen's always looking at Kady's direction.

And Sheen does have a point, she did felt that stupidity when in love once.

But if she has to move away to forget Kady, making Sheen have the possibility to see Wyn's importance, Bea decided to let Sheen go to her company tomorrow.

"Okay then, we'll leave tomorrow," Bea just stands up and left.

She still has to do her luggage as well.

"Ugh, I hate her. She always makes me spill the beans that easily," Sheen sighs.

Bea really does have the power to let people tell her the truth.

Suddenly her phone rang, it's Wyn.

She noticed that there are messages from Blue but she answered Wyn's call first before checking the message.

She took a deep breath.

She knows that she has to say goodbye to Wyn.

And she might hurt him, badly.

"Hi," Sheen greeted.

"Hey, are you okay? Where are you going? What... god, Sheen, what's wrong?" Wyn asks.

His voice was full of worry and fear,

Fear of what Sheen was thinking about him.

"Nothing, I just got the job I applied to somewhere and I should be there tomorrow, the flight will be 2 in the morning tomorrow so I can't go with you," Sheen's feet won't rest.

She keeps on tapping her feet.

"Why did you resign?" Wyn asks.

On the other side of the phone, Wyn can't stop tapping his fingers on his desk.

"No, I will take my resignation later to Kady, anyways, it's nothing. I just want a break from things," Sheen lays her back on her bed.

"Sheen, are you angry with me?"

"No. You know feelings, they come and go. But I promise I'm getting over it."

"Which means at this moment you might still hate me?"

"Yeah."

"Okay."

"Thank you, Wyn. And sorry I can't go to your family dinner."

"No, that's fine. Uh, Sheen?"

"Yes?"

"Are you still my... fiance?"

"..."

Sheen covered her face with her left arm.

She sighs too loud that Wyn heard it, "It's a no," Wyn suddenly said.

"No, I mean... Wyn..."

Sheen took another sigh, "I'm sorry."

"No... that's... it's alright... it's okay... that's fine," Wyn said those words not for Sheen, but for himself.

He knew that it was an unclear topic between them.

After Sheen knew about the accident, it became an invisible problem for both of them.

It's a wrong move for Wyn to say to his mother that Sheen is his fiance.

"I'm sorry, but I hope you understand."

"Yeah, I do, don't worry. Can I meet you later, for a proper goodbye?" Wyn asks.

"Yeah, that's fine. After I take my resignation to the company, I'll meet you."

"Okay."

"Okay, see you later. Bye."

With the sound of the beeping sound, Sheen lets go of her phone on her bed.

"Ugh, I'm so mean. I'm so stupid."

Sheen suddenly felt tired and slowly got into a deep sleep that even Bea can't wake her up.

The sound of her phone was the only thing that was able to make her open her eyes.

It's Wyn, and the time is already 8 PM.

"GOSH!" She suddenly stands up and answered her phone while looking for a dress to put on.

'Kady's still there, he leaves around 10 PM usually,' she thought.

"Hey, where are you? We all left the company but I didn't see you."

"Yeah, I just, uh woke up. I fell asleep."

She puts on the call on loud speaker and undressed.

"WHAT?! Kady already went home, Sheen."

"WHAT?" She suddenly stops on putting her dress, "Then, I'll go to his house."

"Are you crazy, just send it to his e-mail," Wyn's words suddenly made Sheen stop from putting her socks on.

'He's right. I can. But I don't want to. Why? Because... ugh, I want to see him one last time!' she thought.

"Um, no. I don't know his e-mail," Sheen made an excuse thinking that Wyn will not think of other way.

"I'll send it to you."

"Um, no. Kady does not accept resignation via e-mail."

Sheen puts on her shoes and took the letter in her bag.

"What? Really? I mean, yeah that's a disrespect."

"Yeah, I'll call you later if you still want to hang out," She went out and rode a cab to her company.

"Yes, see you later. Tell me if something happens."

"Yeah, bye."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Kady, let me go, please," Sheen tries to pull her hand from Kady's grasp but he is too strong.

Her tears won't stop flowing from her eyes.

Her frowns and broken heart can't even reach Kady.

"No, you're staying in my company," Kady suddenly hugs her tight that Sheen can't even breathe and the words Kady will say will make her lose her breathe even more, "I love you."

She knows that something will happen when she will see Kady.

With all the hiding and staying away, Sheen knows that Kady will ask tons of questions.

And her expectation really happened.

They were having tea when Sheen gave the resignation letter to Kady when he was about to ask question.

And right after he read it, he stood up and threw the letter at the fireplace.

And now, Sheen founds herself in Kady's arms and hearing the words that she longs to hear from him.

"No, Kady. Stop," she pushed him away while trying to hide her face that shows embarrassment from what she heard.

"I am going no matter what you do or say, I won't get stuck with you again," she took her bag and was about to go out when Kady asks, "Do you hate me?"

'No, I love you,' she thought.

But she nods, "Yes, I do. So much. Good bye, Kady."

She continued on walking while her visions' blurry and her tears continue on flowing.

Her hearts pounding like crazy but with every beat, it makes her suffocate with pain.

"I'm sorry," she whispered before closing the door.
