Kapitel 1: Chapter 1:
Two girls were laying on the twins bed facing the ceiling. It was they're twelfth birthday, most of kids their age would have been overjoy with their birthdays but not for these two. Whenever they wake up in the mornings of their birthdays they would cry first before going out. But this time they promised not to cry again. This time they can't be weak and cry , they will face anything as they're growing big now.
In every date of their birthdays, they would be heavy exercises with real tools, with the actual sword, fighting against each other and even being drowned into the water for 3hours, doing combative midfielder and all. It started at the age of five but now it seems like it is the regular ritual on the date of being born.
The two girls named Ava and Leah they were identical twins, one could never identify them without being confuse. They were raised by their father and the white lady known as Lidya, She raise them with love but she couldn't protect them from the cruelty of their father.
The twins were talking about their upcoming exercise.
" Ava, are you scared?... donn worry am here with you " Leah was trying to encourage her sister as Ava seems to be little upset minded
" no am not scared but....why does papa tell us to train.....do you think we are in danger?." Ava spoke not allowing Leah to talk at all, she has been like this 'a girl with many questions '. She always speculate things and create many questions and she will never stop until she get the answers.
" I donn know...and don't ask another question and don't put the face of detective now....promise me ....you will be good today, just do everything they told us to. no question...got it?" Leah telling Ava to be obedient because few times of combative. Ava being Ava she asked many questions and the results were more training for them with out a break and no water to drink either.
" got it!.....let's talk more later after were done , I've something to show you "
" Alright....just don't ask me about the boys .....let's go " Leah got up holding Avas hand and run out down to the ground.
when the night fall, the twin were exhausted with all the combative they engaged. Ava was feeling bad for Leah, everytime they fought against each other Leah will be the one to get hurt, like today she is bleeding on her shoulder. She got cut when they were sword fighting .
" Hey! Ava am okay.....donn be like th..." Leah wanted to assure her sister she was fine despite the bleeding she is still fine.
" Nooo....your not fine. you want me to be okay..no...no I can't be okay. Look I have been observing other kids out there with their parents. Even those with one parent....and guess what I found out?" Ava spoke with bitterness while tears filled her eyes
" Listen Ava am okay....please stop being obsessed with other people's life...we are different from them " Leah knew her sister so well and she knew that very soon , she will do something stupid that might cost them a heavy punishment later on
" Correct. what I found is that we are different. because no parent can make their kids fight against one another. no parent can put their kid under water for that long and no parent will not give their kids a birthday gift....I....think he is not our dad " she was crying now and couldn't stop the tears from falling.
Leah quickly went to hug Leah to smooth her not to cry because they can't be seen crying as crying is weak.
" Shss!". she started patting her back to easy her crying " Donn cry like a baby...Everything will be fine ...i promise ok " she cupped her face with both her hand " listen to me ....we can make through this together "
" I know we can....but am tired.....Am tired of everything in here ...I can't keep seeing your blood like this...." She touched her shoulder and she flinch a little " does it hurt that much?"
" No. only a little . A tiny pain that's all...
you got to remember we are in this together " Leah smilled and intertwined her hand with Ava's hand .
" we're in this together " Ava retorted.
Time passed as they freshen up and Ava help Leah to dress her wound. they laugh together when Ava mis-bandaged the wound . At 8 o'clock is they're bed time and today they didn't care to follow the rules like always. Today Leah wanted to listen to Ava stupid dreams and stories .
They sat on their beds to listen to the Mysterious stories of Ava when the door was knocked. Ava groaned loud.
Lidya opened the door slowly and entered.
" Are you two fine .....what are you doing instead of sleeping " she asked while approaching them
" we're fine and am about to listen to Ava dreams and stories .we will sleep soon " Leah was the one who answered while Ava rolled her eyes
"I told you not dreams but true story of the Vampire king...you never listen Geez!"
" How about I tell you a story...a true story " Lidya smiled at the face expressions of the twins one with disbelief and the other with disgusting eye roll
" we're not babies anymore " Ava retorted
" Are you allowed to stay that long in here?" comes the sensible question of Leah
Lidya leaned forward a little and reduced her voice as if she was about to tell them a top secret and then she laughed at how easy they got curious as they also lean towards her.
" It's fine. today he won't be around. I can even sleep here if you want "
"NO!" they shouted both
" just read us a story and then go to your room "Ava declared
" Okay then ....let me sit....Oh here " Lidya sat at the side of the bed . " Ava it's the story of a Vampire.....and Leah it's a story of a divine lady who sacrifice herself to save the rest"
by the mention of those words she picked up both girls interests and she got the attention she needed from them.
She started " Long ago........
