Kapitel 247: Wood and Blood

  After my wife fell asleep, I went to the window to close the curtains, but I saw the girl sitting in front of the two oak trees with her knees folded. I recognized her as Cassidy. The girl reminded me of her mother. The one who killed my wife in her past life. I don't understand why Melissa takes her in. She has a big heart that she couldn't even hate the dirty blood that ran through that girl's body. 

  I finally closed the curtains and used the balcony door. I locked it as I walked downstairs to approach her. I stood on the spot a few steps behind her. She looked like praying and I looked at the oak trees that glowed. However, it made me angry. She turned her head to me, startled as she stood and bowed. 

"What are you doing?" I asked coldly. I think it was clear to everyone that I am not letting anyone in this part. But somehow, Melissa said that she could visit.
