"Oh, Reece…," I murmured. 

"Your Highness," he smiled. "Are you okay…?"

"Don't ask about me. It's you who you should be worried about," I said. "I had no idea… you would have to be… I'm really sorry."

"Please do not apologize, Your Highness. It's not your fault," he said. He was less bandaged than Abel, who still had not woken up. But he looked very pale and seemed to have aged a couple of years in a short time. 

"I just…," I mumbled. "There is no point in apologizing anyway, but I can't stop blaming myself."

"Your Highness, you did not go through anything less. What did they do to you back there?" he asked.
