Kapitel 444: A Gift For Him

My wife's mage arrived the next day with Doctor Dimitri. Almost everyone was now sure that war was bound to break out. 

Luc left to stay in the magic tower and I also had to frequent between the palace and the mansion where my wife was staying. Since one month had passed that I had to go to the palace every now and then and come back again. 

"Will you come here?" my wife asked gently, with her hands behind her back as if she was holding something. 

Her stomach was bloated now and it was evident that she was in fact pregnant. I had to admit that she looked very beautiful and every time I thought she was bearing my child in her stomach, it gave me a different kind of pleasure. 

She was standing a little further from the bed where I was standing to change my clothes. I was ready to go to the palace again, just wearing the coat was all that was left to do.
