"...is that the end for me?"
His eyes closed, accepting his fate. He thought it was the end. However, it was not.
When Liam awoke from the endless darkness, he found himself in a world much different from his own―and in a body that was unfamiliar.
"...[ The Golden Hero ] This is..."
It seemed that he was given another chance at life. No longer as Liam, but as Rowen, a character from a novel.
But, there was a slight problem.
Rowen was a villain. A secondary villain at that.
His fate was to be manipulated by the antagonist and killed by the hero.
It was a tragedy. What could he possibly do?
Of course, not wanting to let fate decide for him again, he took up his arms, stopping at nothing to prevent his tragic death.
He had to survive in a cruel world where fate was not in his favour.
If it meant killing the protagonist, the crown prince or even the main villain; he would do so.
All so that he could live the life he wants.

Character design Some character are a bit confusing and i assuming the author would explain more in future chapter. Not a lot of info dump which result in lack of understanding of character and general information.3 out of 5 star. World Background No current world background as of yet. Will be resolve in future chapter.3 out of 5 star.Maybe 2 out of 5.Could be 1 out of 5 star if im basing on the current 9 chapter but i will leave it at 3 star. Story development The story flows well with the character. Some moments feels inconsistent but usually will get cover.A lot of plot have been show such as "Liam Suvival","The Clan Below" and "Nari Revenges".The plot is still bearable and not too much.4 out of 5 star. Writing quality As long as it is readable and not much grammar and common found error, im fine with it. 5 out of 5 star Update stability Its by Jeri_ so the updates would be daily unless she is consume with too much work which is unlikely considering all the time she got into reading novel. So 5 out of 5 star.
Spoiler enthüllenWriting is almost flawless, picture–able scenes, thanks to the good description. MCs character is not exaggerated and the events happened like how they would in reality... in other words, the first few chapters I read are realistic. Great job author!
it's good but the lack of information is quite the problem bcs author-san didn't want to info bump i guess.. like how how many dukes are there in a kingdom?or how the kingdom works?or is the demons invader from another world? or they're from different continent?or why is his only way of survival is to kill the hero? .... but overall it's good just lacking a little world background 😎👌
The tag "tragedy" is missing. I'm in the current chapters (end of the first season), but I'm necessarily stopping here. This story really took me on a roller coaster of emotions, enough to make me really uncomfortable with the sudden tragedy that isn't in the tags. I particularly don't like the genre and I don't even start readings that contain tragedy. I know many people like it, but I think the tags are there for that, a warning. This is a sentimental review, as if I'm going to review it purely technically, it's actually perfect. But the sudden tragedy is over for me. I wish the author good luck. And readers are warned, there's a hidden tragedy tag there, whether you like it or not.
At first I hesitated a bit before starting this novel because I thought this is your typical generic novel but boy I WAS WRONG... this is a great novel that exceeded my expectations, although the starting of the novel is a bit mess and I was a little annoyed but the story doesn't let you lose your interest and you are eager to know what will happen next. I am a little bit disappointed that I caught up with the story ...The ending of first arc was really unexpected and I am really excited about the academy arc that is going on and what the future of our MC holds and I am really excited for it. Please author don't drop or drag the story and Great work again and hoping for more surprises Dear Author [img=recommend]
This is my first time reading the ‘forced to be a villain’ trope. Glad I picked up this book to start because it’s super interesting and I’m definitely hooked. I don’t know what the other reviews are saying about the writing - this is far better than some of the more popular books I’ve read on WN. The updates are regular as well. I’m hooked. Can’t wait to read more. Keep going author! More chapters please!
OMG! One of the best Villain stories I've ever read. I like the characters' development to be honest. Yes, this is a little bit confusing but reading every chapter helps. 10/10 for me.
Spoiler enthüllenThis is my time reading a novel from the author and I'm enjoying the novel so far .I'm looking forward to reading more chapters and seeing how the character of Rowen and Nari develop further into the story .Keep up the good work!
i like the mc, gives off trash of the count's family's MC's vibe. he is calculative and thinks before doing anything. The story lacks some info, but that's just what makes it more interesting. You all should give it a try.
I applause the author for coming up with a unique idea in the anti-hero plots. A villain who can't lose in any way, someone who will go stronger and cannot falter from his goals. I loved how author did the foreshadowing in the dialogues of father 'because villains don't get to see the ends of books.' An impactful foreshadowing trick. However, I do want such letter too which will gimme free bucks, Haha. Eager to see the flow and turns of the plotline because it got potential and quality in one place!
Not to spoil too much, but I like the premise of "forced to be a villain". MC seems calculative and has good adaptive skills. Love it. 😤
The quality of the writing is excellent! It's refreshing to find first-person stories on webnovel with such superb writing. I really like Rowen's character design. He's intelligent, calculating, and composed, based on what I've read about him. (Can you believe it? An intelligent MC? Pinch me coz I must be dreaming!) The story follows the "forced to be a villain" trope, where our protagonist has no choice but to confront and eliminate the protagonist of the novel he was reincarnated into if he wishes to survive. I'm completely invested in it! The dialogue is skillfully written, the character is believable, and the story flows smoothly. The author's mastery of the English language is evident in their use of excellent grammar, which is neither too difficult to drive you away nor too repetitive to feel bland and monotonous. Overall, I'm eagerly anticipating the plot's progression 😌

A "Forced to become a villain" trope novel, that's the basic gist of this. For a more in-depth view on it, let's look at it in a bit more detail. When it comes to writing quality, there's room to improve, but it's readable and allows one to enjoy the book. Updates are daily, which is good. For story development, sometimes the flow is a bit confusing, but the plot overall is good, making you want to come back for more. As a character design enthusiast, unfortunately, I have to rate it a bit lower, as I find there is a lack of feeling (Which can be improved on) in certain dialogue texts, author does explain some things about the character, but not enough for me sadly. World background-wise, there's nothing much to expand on this as we've yet to go deep in world-building, but it's promising. Overall, it's a good book on WN. with room to improve and become better. Keep up the good work author-san!
