Kapitel 108: Chapter 107 - Presentation

When Kaito steps onto the ceremony stage and stops behind the metal and glass pulpit on which the Kamigami Institute logo stands, he gazes at the horizon full of people and his lips curve into a closed smile. It is at this moment that he finally decides on his main objective in this place. He doesn't want to be one more, nor does he want to hide away, Kaito wants to live the life he's always dreamed of.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Kaito Zhao." He begins and places a hand on his chest. "I come from Safe Area Z4, the Zone of the Forgotten and, as far as my aspirations are concerned, you should know that I'm the one who will be at the top before you know it. That's it."

The last echoes of Kaito's words reverberated around the courtyard for a few more seconds, creating an uncomfortable silence.
