Kapitel 30: SOMETHING INDESCRIBABLE (Part 2)

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!" the king laughed hysterically. "I guess I was, huh? With this thing you call love. I… I loved her. But she's gone now. And the worst part, I wasn't there when she needed me the most. All the power in the world, I have and yet, I failed to protect her."

The king and Azalea weren't the only ones who mourned after learning what happened to Rania. Selena was also in the list and perhaps, the one feeling the most remorseful if compared to the others. Ever since that horrible night, she shut herself in her room and made friends with the darkness. With all her doors and windows shut, she mourned.

'I don't understand,' Selena thought as she stared blankly to nothingness, and sat on her bed while hugging her knees. 'All I ever did was hate her—say and do bad things to her.'

"… But I don't hate you. You hating me doesn't mean I should hate you back," a familiar voice suddenly spoke from behind her.
