Kapitel 83: Lying Can Sometimes Be Incredibly Useful

A few seconds ago, Marcel, Moo, and Xavier jumped through buildings to buildings while their other friend, the Terminator himself went back for some reason, but he returned only ten seconds later.

Stella, who is at the front, puts down the Magic communication Item on her hand after calling someone.

"Is it done?" Basically asked.

"Done. He'll be here soon. Are you sure about this?"

"Well, I can only think about this method. Let's go. We need to stop those bastards before they leave."

"Hold up! Wait a minute, I want to try on something." Terroriser said as he tried to take something from his inventory, "Give me for a second..."

Pulling out a laptop, Brian types the keys of it at fast speed before he finally press [Enter].

Not before long, an unknown object on the sky suddenly appears a few kilometers from them.

[Predator Missile Inbound!]

*Fuuuuuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii— Boom!*

An enormous explosion ensued.

Amidst the smoke, the group arrived at the city walls.

"Good, we are not late yet." Stella said as she sighed in relief.

As soon as they arrived at the city walls, Stella looked around for a familiar figure. When she saw her unconscious sister, she could not help but call out in concern.

"Gracie!"

Stella wanted to rush towards her sister but Marcel stopped her.

"Hey, stop. Don't be reckless. Remember the plan."

"But-"

"Calm down. Although your little sister is unconscious, she is uninjured. Besides, do you think you alone can go against all of them?"

Basically, especially Delirious had already grasped the situation. Seven enemies, four Grandmasters and three Legendary Realm experts.

The situation was complicated. Terroriser, Delirious, Stella, Basically, and Xavier could barely fight a Legendary Realm expert or an A-rank Individual, and Xavier could possibly fight one, so they still needed a way to take care of the last of the strongest ones and the four Grandmasters.

"Ah, we just need to wait a bit more then." Delirious suddenly says.

Stella bit her lips and nodded. She then took a deep breath to calm down.

"Sorry guys, I lost my calm."

The two nodded, except for Brian who just got here. At that moment, Terroriser then spotted something and says

"Hey assholes, what the hell is that thing?"

""Hm?""

Everyone followed Brian's sight, only to see a white box, inside is a moving black slime-like.

"Ew, have no idea." Basically said, a little bit disgust.

Delirious shrugged, "Don't know either, looks like a 10 kilogram of black shit."

"Boys, do you remember that girl back at Lord Liam's mansion when she says be careful to those black things?" Stella said.

""Yeah.""

"No." Terroriser said.

"I think that's what she meant."

"I see. So it might be the cause of all of this?" Basically questions.

"Nah, I think Delirious was right. I think it's just a black 10 kilograms of shit." Terroriser said.

What they all talking about and saw was the black mass-like thing with several tentacles twisting revoltingly inside a white energy box.

Stella furrowed her brows, "In other words, they are the ones behind this?"

"Yeah, but it looks like that was not their only goal." Delirious said while looking at another unconscious girl in a corner.

It was Karen, the city lord's daughter.

An ice-cold look appeared on Delirious, Marcrl, Skyler, and even Xavier had angry expressions.

Brian noticing the angry expressions from everyone was confuse.

"Um, did I miss something here? o_O "

The group of five had passed through the city to reach here, and in the way, they had witnessed how the monsters chased and slaughtered innocent civilians.

Even although most of them did their best to help, what they could do was limited. The number of monsters was too huge. It was virtually impossible for them to kill each one of them.

Even they thought about releasing Xavier's true strength. But in the end, they did not dare to spend their resources and strength of the Golem on killing weak monsters with those high magic energy in the armor and weapon Xavier possessed, which could get the attention of two demigods nearby.

Even more when both demigods could easily be enemies.

One was the one belong with the black-dressed men and the other seen to be belong to a high-official in the kingdom which the group has little trust on them. They are not too sure if they could trust any of the nations or governments yet.

While the group were observing the black-dressed men, the black-dressed men were observing them. Captain Cost frowned when he saw the four of them plus Xavier ready to fight.

"Troublesome... Fortunately, none of them seems too strong."

But at that moment, one of his men, a black-dressed man that lacked an arm, trembled.

"What is wrong, mate?" Captain Cost asked.

The one-armed black-dressed man gritted his teeth.

"It's him!"

"Who?"

"That n**** over there is the one that cut my fucking arm!"

The Captain's eyes shrunk. He then looked again at the group and recognized most of them.

The mask guy, the black skin guy, the cat maid, the Golem, and... whoever the other guy is.

(Terroriser: You fuckin'... really? *Flashbacks of Google AI never mention his name in the question he ask about the members of the Vanoss Crew*)

They were the ones that frustrated the kidnapping of the Count's daughter and killed several of his men some days ago!

Even his Adamantine shield magically enchanted with a high-level Protection enchantment was destroyed by the young man's sword!

Captain Costnarrowed his eyes, "It looks like your little petty revenge will not have to wait then. The Goddess of Fate is smiling to us it seems. Men, kill them! And make it quick!"

When he finished speaking-

*Boom!*

The seven black-dressed men released their auras! Three Legendary Experts and four Grandmasters got ready to fight!

"Two of you, keep an eye on the creature, the Cat maid and the Golem. The rest, let's take them out!"

"""Yes, sir!!"""

When the group saw the situation, their expression turned serious. It seemed they could not continue waiting.

But just when they are about to fight-

"Stella, what the hell happened!? Explain!"

Stella's expression changed when she heard that voice.

"Lord Liam!"

The Count has arrived. He had rushed towards here with a group of men after he heard Stella's words, but he was not expecting to find the three and their manaless Golem here too, except for the other guy he doesn't know of.

However, that was not the time to think about them. Count Liam moved his anxious gaze towards the black-dressed men and then, his expression froze.

"Karen..."

At that moment, Stella's enraged voice put the last nail in the coffin.

"My Lord, they kidnapped young miss and my sister! And the young master... The young master is dead!"

Liam staggered. He looked at the black-dressed men with an expression of grief and rage.

"H-Herald, he..."

"They killed him! They are the ones behind the beast wave! My Lord, you have to avenge the young master!"

The black-dressed men were startled. Even the Captain has no clue what was happening. But they would never know they had been used as scapegoats.

"BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!"

Count Liam let out a heartbreaking cry. His eyes turned red and his grief turned into hate towards the black-dressed men.

Thus, the curtain of the final battle of Kalren city opened!
