Kapitel 64: A different kind of prayer

Life in the new world was difficult. And even more so for a boy who had lost not just his family, but a part of his humanity as well. Back during his school days, Kevin would always share his problems with his mother. She was the one who consoled him when he met with failures, and she was the one who encouraged him to keep trying.

Speaking to an emotional support AI never had the same effect on him as having a long, deep conversation with his mother. Kevin would have given anything just to rest his head in his mother's lap again. 

As Kevin sat there trying to choose an emotional support AI, terrible images resurfaced in his mind. He faintly remembered the faces of all the Raiders he had slaughtered. The Gods the ancients used to worship would never have forgiven him for his crimes. At least the emotional support AIs wouldn't judge him for his actions.
