Once their destination had been decided, Alex headed toward the quarters of the water guardian. Somehow, he got lucky and did not run into anyone along the way.

But what he considered lucky gave Cassin a weird feeling in his stomach. He did not know why, but the lack of people in the water guardian’s wing was not a good sign. That was what his instincts told him.

Out of all the present guardians, the water guardian had been with Ray the longest and he was also the most loyal. People could even say that their relationship was ‘special.’

However, there was one weird thing about their relationship and that was it not being mutually exclusive. The divine lady did not have any other close person in her life, but the water guardian kept a lot of women in his chamber.

Everyone knew about the viscous sexual appetite of the water guardian and even the divine lady should know about it. But she neither found it disturbing nor did she seem to care.
