[Blink]
'Even if it is a grade 3 array, it still can't restrict a 4th circle spell.'
Appearing in the middle of the treasury Oliver came face to face with the item he was here for, a shining orb sitting on a marble pillar, in the middle of the treasury.
Oliver quickly inspected the orb, not taking the time to cast his analyse spell.
[Grand Orb]
Description: Fusion Item
It didn't say much, but Oliver didn't need much, he just needed to know if this was in fact the real grand orb.
Putting the orb away Oliver teleported himself out the treasury, but not before he took out a particular magic array, placing it on the treasury floor.
[Blink]
Looking back for a second to make sure the array hadn't activated yet Oliver started running.
The array had the right timing, so he didn't need to hurry for that, but if anyone found that the guards were gone and happened to open the vault it would ruin his plan.
Making his way outside wasn't difficult, as he could just walk out without anyone even batting an eye.
So, as soon as he rounded the corner and was out of site of the front gate guards Oliver started running, to the next closest house.
house Astrian.
The house publicly known for information dealing, but also the house behind the assassins guild. At least that was in the beginning, before the guild grew to big and defected from the family.
The entrance of house Astrian was rather similar to that of house Fenix, a sing gate with a couple of guards before it, only having a serpent logo on their chests this time.
This small obstacle was obviously nothing to Oliver.
"Excuse me, but the commander of the 3th legion of 'information gatherers' has summoned me, I assume you guys knew I was coming?"
Both guards nodded as they let Oliver pas, there was in fact no summons. But the 3th legion commander was known to be a lunatic.
And these guards especially had witnessed one of their comrades getting executed on the spot simply for keeping his guessed for about 10 extra seconds to check her identification.
They wouldn't dare to make Oliver late for even a single second.
'Luckily all houses have these stupid entrances to their treasuries.'
Oliver had already arrived at a book shelve in the middle of a hallway, a row of old looking books being kept upright by 2 metal serpents at either end.
Oliver, after making sure that no one was watching pulled on all 4 of the serpent fangs, in a specific order. The wall behind the tall shelve opening up like a door only seconds later.
Unlike the Fenix family the Astrian's relied only on the fact that their treasury was hidden, no guards being stationed here.
Of course this also came from a mistrust in even their closest personnel, especially after the assassins guild betrayed them.
The protective magic array in front of the vault was also much weaker than the one protecting the Fenix family treasury. Only having a single grade 2 array on the door. And a verry simple one at that.
Seeing this Oliver didn't bother using blink, as he unravelled the array in less than 30 minutes. To which he could open the door with a simple push.
Unlike the Fenix family treasury, which was basically all marble, the most basic image of a treasury one could have.
This one was dark, a thin layer of green water on the floor, it almost felt like a swamp.
Which Oliver didn't find surprising, as most of the prized possessions of the Astrian family came from such an environment, so were also best kept in such and environment.
This environment also made it extremely difficult for Oliver to find what he was after, it took a full 15 minutes for his to find it, a puddle of viscos liquid in a corner of the room.
Empowerment Plasma
From time to time a pulse of light blue light could be seen from the plasma, but even then it was very well hidden. Oliver almost wondered if the Astrian family didn't know that this was a treasure.
After quickly inspecting it Oliver swiftly made his way outside after leaving the same magic array behind.
[Empowerment Plasma]
Description: Fusion Item
He wasn't expecting anything more after the orb, so he quickly made his way towards the last noble house in the kingdom.
House of Goldspire.
The merchant house. Most would think that this would be the most difficult house to break into, but it was quite the opposite.
The Goldspire's had a main treasury outside the city, managed by their vast merchant network, after all it wasn't convenient to have merchants come into the upper city for every gold they needed.
So even though the Goldspire main treasury was seen as impossible to break into, even for Oliver. The house treasury, located in their noble house in the inner city had about the same defences as the other houses.
So, within the next 30 minutes Oliver was in the middle of the Goldspire treasury, he had used another blink spell to get past their magic arrays.
They weren't as advanced as the Felix's, but money got you hell of a defence, and Oliver didn't feel like wasting any more time.
The treasury looked like a normal warehouse, all be it with more expensive items on the shelves.
And as everything was labelled Oliver took only a few minutes to find the Elemental Stones, a set of stones, each having a different color of the rainbow. All seemingly melted together.
[the Elemental Stones]
Description: Fusion Item
After confirming that these were in fact the elemental stones Oliver left behind another magic array scroll, and used blink to get out of the treasury.
Making sure to distance himself from all houses before inspecting the fusion items any deeper.
"AHHHH"
"MONSTERS"
"WOLVES, WOLVES HOW DID THEY GET HERE."
Even from this far away Oliver could hear the panic in the houses as his arrays were set off. He wasn't worried about the death rate, as these were merely low level wolves.
At most some maids would die, probably not even 0.001 precent of the kingdom. Plus the wolves were verry contained in the houses, making it so that no commoners would be in trouble.
