The sun had barely risen over Eldian, casting a warm glow over the bustling city. Zac and Kai sat in the common room of the Wanderers' Rest, sipping their breakfast ale and discussing their plans for the day.
"I'm off to the library," Zac said, his eyes shining with determination. "I need to find a way back home."
Kai nodded, his grin mischievous. "And I'm off to the Adventure Guild. I've got a score to settle with those Fangborn wolves."
Zac's expression turned serious. "Be careful, Kai. You know how dangerous they are."
Kai's grin grew wider. "That's why I'm taking a quest to hunt them down. I've got a few debts to pay."
With a nod, the brothers parted ways, each pursuing their own goals. Zac delved into the dusty tomes of the library, searching for any mention of interdimensional travel or portals. Meanwhile, Kai strode into the Adventure Guild, his eyes scanning the quest board for the perfect mission.
His gaze landed on a posting that made his heart race: "Fangborn Wolf Hunt". The same creatures that had injured him on their last encounter. This time, he was ready for revenge.
With a fierce smile, Kai accepted the quest, his hand trembling with anticipation. Today, he would finally settle the score.
