Kapitel 1: Prologue
That mysterious being stood up there. His presence wasn't overwhelming. He wasn't arrogant either. But he was strong. That one thing stood out about him.
"We have reincarnated countless souls in countless world. But those souls fortunately or unfortunately get entwined with their worlds fate. Only very few of those were able counteract the calamity and defeat it. The rest of them had perished. But the common thing amongst these souls were the fact that they were normal humans before. When we reincarnate them, we give them the blessing of the Akasha. These beings also had foreknowledge of the world they were destined to reincarnate. Now you are also one those fortunate or unfortunate souls that have been given the opportunity to reincarnate. We have already chosen the world for you, so we let you choose a few blessings." He says to me.
You know in stories or fan made fiction, I've seen a lot of reincarnation take place in the beginning of each of those stories. Every time you have seen some kind of rudeness when the god is giving you a chance to live again with some wishes. But when it actually happens, the truth slaps you in the face. I am just a normal person. Nothing special. If this guy is giving me chance to live I will take that chance wholeheartedly. Without any questions.
I looked up at him and started speaking. "First, thank you for the opportunity to let me live another life. If you don't mind me asking, Can you tell me where I am reincarnating?"
"According to the foreknowledge within your memories it would be a world called Draconic Deus." He tells me straightforwardly.
Okay. A world where gods still walk amongst us in the modern world. But I will live in any world at this point so I am okay with it.
"Thank you um... sir? Now could I know the limitations to my blessing?" I asked him.
"Don't worry. I will show the list of blessings you could pick. Now the list of blessings you will see is abilities that are compatible to you. Remember you have three blessings." He said.
After going through the list, I properly thought about it and chose my blessings. The list of blessings were mostly systems. Each differing in their own way. After I finished I spoke to him again.
"For my first blessing, I chose "The Gamer" blessing." I said to him.
"I see. It is one of the more common blessing that was picked. Usually some people just go with invincibility so that they don't die. But they somehow end up dying due to stupid circumstances. Now this ability will also be different from what you know. The ID creations concept is slightly similar to the Bounded field concept. Something you will learn eventually. So instead of ID creations we have "Enter Dungeon". This option will give you access to a dungeon that exists in separate dimension. The dungeon is full of monsters and it has hundred floors. Once you beat the hundredth floor you will be given an amazing reward. No one else can access this dungeon except for you. But if you die in this dungeon, then you die for real. Now you can have this option but it will take two of your blessings or you can just take the normal Gamer ability for one blessing." He said to me.
After thinking for a while I made my decision.
"Then I will sacrifice my two blessings for that option with the gamer." I said to him.
"Good choice. Now other things that maybe different is how you get the skills. Skills you usually get by repeatedly performing an action to do a certain task. Now the thing here is that you can improve the skills while performing the action because the Akasha will send you required knowledge to further master and evolve the skill. The other options are quite straightforward. You also get those gamer perks. Now for the final blessing." He said to me.
"Ah yes. For my final blessing I choose to give up my gamer perks for the Longevity skill from the system in solo levelling." I said.
You might be thinking I could've gotten the solo levelling system directly. But I didn't have that system in the list. Most probably because it's not compatible with me. But I thought of doing this because I can eventually cultivate a calm mind set because of the way the skills were created. But longevity gives me immunity to all curses, diseases, poisons or any other status afflictions. If that ain't broken then I don't know what is.(Author's note: Also I don't like the gamers body Because it's just too stale/boring)
"Oh. This is out of my expectations. But this exchange can be done since it is a blessing. Seems like you have played this smart. If you have this mindset then you can survive in that cruel supernatural world. But as cruel as it is, there are some beautiful things out there. Hope you enjoy your next life. Do you have any other questions before you reincarnate?" He asks me.
"Ah yes I do have a few questions. Will the world be different from my foreknowledge? Would I be able to change the fate of other people in that world? And finally if you don't mind me asking, then could you tell me who you are?" I asked.
"You did become a little chatty for second there. Let's see. For your first question, yes there will be changes so be prepared and don't trust that foreknowledge anymore. For your second question, yes you will be able to change fates of other people but even if you save them, some may still pursue the same path, so don't be surprised. And for your last question, I don't mind answering. I am a conceptual being born from the Akasha. We are similar to gods but conceptual beings like us are born from the Akasha and have existed since the beginning of the multiverse. That's all there is to me. We are simply concepts given physical form. But we have also had our own journeys to truly learn what our concepts mean. We are also able to give out blessings to souls like you after you have accomplished something in your journey. I am the conceptual being of creation and blacksmithing. In simple terms I am god of blacksmiths." He said with a small smile on his face.
"Thank you for the answers and also thank you again for giving me another chance at life." I said with gratitude.
"Don't worry about it now. We have chosen you for a reason. We believe you can become strong. We send you to these worlds that were fated with destruction so that you could change that fate. Also don't forget to enjoy your journey maybe you can get a harem along that road. It is still that world after all." He said.
I could feel my conscience slipping as he finished the sentence. Living in another world. I'm looking forward to it.
