Her capture threatened her to work for him. Her task? To carry messages and deliver them to each receiver—she became a runner.
The seventh prince, Prince Yi was fighting against time as they are trying to find evidence of the enemy trying to assassinate the Emperor. However, recently most of his messenger never reached their destination and this has caused them a huge loss. This was why he needed someone who knew the Capital City's streets and shortcuts to help him.
When Prince Yi found out his runner's identity, he was delighted! But once Yu Feng found out the identity of the man she was working for, she tried to escape.

I really like this story. It has slow development but almost no loopholes. Well written and thought of. Unique plot. Fully developed characters. Different from other stories I’ve read previously on Webnovel. And that’s what makes it special. At least for me. I will recommend it for everyone to try and read it.
Oh, this was sooo good! It had me laughing and snorting at times, and shedding tears at others. The writing quality and story was just absolutely amazing. I am so sad that I finished it. READ THIS! You will not be disappointed! ❤️
Quite a nice read. I like it. I can sense the plot budding slowly throughout the progression of each chapter. It's a really interesting feeling akin to one of my favorite web novel - Kusuriya no Hitorigoto. I suggest you can try reading this work to get more inspiration. May the author write more, edit more, learn more, and later...earn more.
The story has me rooting for a thief! Moral and political correctness clashes in this story. The strength is on the storyline and characters, I can say that this story has potentials to be developed into an epic saga.

Nice story. Just love the adventure the FL does every time to save ML and make you hook to read the next chapter daily. Every chapters are interesting, you won't feel bore.
This book is amazing. The FL is beautifully written, she brave and strong but also cautious. Life has not be kind to her but she is fiercely loyal to those she cares about.
I loved reading your story I'm so captivated by it that I don't even see the time spent and I find myself slightly frustrated when I have to wait until the next day to hope to unlock a certain chapter but it's worth the cost.
Honestly, this is one of the best novels I've ever read. The quality of the writing is so good that I feel like I'm on the side of the character, going through the same thing as him/her. Yu Feng and Qin Zhin Hao are so charismatic that I hope they get together as soon as possible! And best of all, the refresh rate is amazing! Sometimes I'm jealous of the author's creativity, I wonder how he/she manages to write so much per day...

very good. well rounded, very fleshed out story and plot. i am not well versed in analysis and critiques so this is as much as I can say. i really enjoyed the character development and romance. i wish there were some side stories. thanks for a great novel
This author is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. most of her other books are on my reading or completed list. Great storyline - the FL is compelling, brave and not afraid to cry or show emotion. The ML is her equal for sure. Loved this story and am a bit sad there are no more updates to look forward to.
Overall not a bad story so far, I like that its now completed so I can have the opportunity to enjoy it in its entirety. The FL does not seem to be bad and the ML is an iffy for me as I do not know him nor his true character. The grammar of course is a bit troublesome and so is the world to some extent. However, for now I'll continue to read. What I do hope for is that the age gap between the leads are not too large up to 7 years is acceptable for this reader.

one of the best ongoing novel i follow right now. the pace is slow but so enjoyable. it makes me looking forward what will happened in each updates. the interaction between xiao feng and xiao qi are natural. especially this latest chapter, xiao qi's frustation is so funny and entertaining .

This novel quickly became one of my favourites! I'm always happy to find a good gender bender novel ^^ What I like the most so far about this book is our female lead. She is very smart and independent. The way her life treated her made her steal to survive but she still was able to stay optimistic despite that. What I really like about her is that she isnt an overpowered character, yes she is very intelligent but she still have flaws. She behaves her age and isnt ridiculously fearless but also isnt a coward. A perfect balance! Our male lead, I still need some time to warm up to him but he doesnt seem like a bad person 👀 And of course I can forget about our officer! Really love how he cares for our Yu Feng. The way the city is described makes us feel as we are there with the characters, following different alleys and running through the streets which makes the read even more exciting. The story started with some grammatical errors but it gets better with each chapter and currently there are only few mistakes here and there. I really hope author will continue to write this novel because I'm very excited to see how the story unfolds. Thank you author for creating such an interesting story and I'm waiting for more with excitement! ♡
