A little while later Xiao Jun comeback with Jinse who brought a basin filled with cold water and cloth. "You can go." He said in dull voice to the young servant.

Jinse left them while bowing her head respectfully.

The moment Jinse left, Xiao Jun sat beside Qianru as he drenched the cloth in cold water and wrapped it around Qianru's swollen wrist.

The cold cloth stung her skin but it eased the pain.

"I will not go anywhere Jun." Qianru didn't dare to confront his eyes, but she had an urge to tell him her stand point. "Can you stop pushing me away?"
