Kapitel 165: My Heart Yearns for You

"Devin!"

The Soul Eater slowly opened his eyes to have heard a woman call his name. It was a familiar person known to him—a woman whom he found annoying at first, and now was close to her.

Angeal.

Devin slowly sat up, his hand rubbing his eyes as his eyesight adjusted to his surroundings. He heard the clanging of the spatula against the frying pan as he smelled the onions and garlic being sautéed. 

Soon after, Angeal got two eggs at the side and broke its shells to put its content in the pan. With this sight, it was enough for anyone to deduce that the sweet human is cooking omelet for breakfast. 

Angeal looked at Devin who was still on the bed that's a bit farther from the kitchen. 

"Are you hungry," she asked, but Devin didn't reply as he observed his surroundings. 

'This isn't the mansion...'
