The information that Diana shared with everyone was very revealing about the true workings of the Sorcerer world. At the start, some of them such as Claire, Ophelia and Tristan found what they heard extremely horrible and atrocious.

In their view what was clear from what they had heard was that apprentices were no different from animals in the eyes of the higher ups of the clan!

They struggled to grapple with their new understanding of the cruel cycle they were caught in.
