Kapitel 4: Chapter 3

In our new home, nestled within the tranquil embrace of the countryside, life feels simpler. The air is fresher, the sky clearer, and our worries seem to melt away. But beneath this idyllic facade, a current of unease tugs at my senses.

I stand at the edge of the vast field, eyes narrowing as I scan the horizon. My advanced senses, honed by years of adaptation, pick up faint traces of movement, of eyes watching. It's not paranoia – it's a reality I can't ignore. S.H.I.E.L.D., the organization whose reach spans far and wide, has taken notice of us.

My family's laughter echoes from the porch, and a pang of concern tightens my chest. They're my anchor, the reason I keep pushing forward. But as much as I want to shield them from the danger that lurks, I'm reminded that it's my powers that have brought this threat to our doorstep.

I grip the wooden fence, frustration boiling within me. These agents – they're just doing their jobs, right? But what if they're not? What if they want to pry, to study me like some lab rat? And what if they're willing to cross lines to get what they want?

My eyes narrow, a determination settling over me. If anyone threatens my family, they'll have to face me. I may be just a kid, but my powers – they're not to be trifled with. It's time to take a page out of the superhero playbook.

With a deep breath, I step forward, the world beneath me trembling as if it's holding its breath. And then, it happens – my feet lift off the ground, and I'm soaring through the sky, the wind rushing past me. It's exhilarating, freeing, like a dream come true.

As I hover above the field, a surge of confidence courses through me. I'm not invincible, but I'm strong. I'm determined. And I'll do whatever it takes to protect my family. My eyes glow with an intensity, a silent warning to anyone who might be watching.

In this quiet moment, suspended between earth and sky, I find my purpose. I'm not just a kid with powers – I'm a guardian, a symbol of hope. And as I look down at our new home, my family gathered on the porch, I know that this is where I belong. Ready to face whatever challenges come our way, armed with the powers of a Kryptonian and the heart of a protector.

With a supersonic boom I blast off towards my first victims of the night. Having identified who I think are hydra agents. I pick them off one by one picking them up at super speeds and rendering them unconscious through the sheer force and speed of our little adventures in the moonlight. Depositing them in random locations across three different states, and relieving them of their weapons and radios.

I race back to the house and confront those that are left, and as I am hovering over the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents that are left. With scarlet eyes conveying don't fuck with me. I lower my self to the ground.

I stand before Agent Phil Coulson, my eyes meeting his gaze. He's the one I need to talk to, the one who can arrange a meeting with the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. My powers have given me the advantage of speed. It's time to use that advantage to negotiate, to ensure my family's safety.

Coulson regards me, his expression a mix of curiosity, a tiny bit of fear and suspicion. "You're quite the resourceful young man, Jason. How did you manage to disable our agents so swiftly?"

I meet his gaze with a confident yet earnest expression. "My powers have... evolved, Agent Coulson. With flight comes enhanced speed. I can move faster than anyone can see."

Coulson raises an eyebrow. "And you know about our organization, our surveillance, everything?"

I nod. "I have an uncanny ability to gather information, Agent Coulson. I know who you report to, why, and even about some... hidden agendas."

Coulson's skepticism is evident, but there's a hint of intrigue in his eyes. "And what do you want, Jason?"

I take a breath, my voice steady. "I want to protect my family. There are other parties involved, ones I'm not ready to mention yet. I've seen their influence, their potential danger. I need to find agents I can trust, those who will help keep my secret and ensure my family's safety."

Coulson leans against a nearby wall, folding his arms. "And why should we trust you, Jason? You're just a kid."

I meet his gaze, unwavering. "Because I have unique abilities, Agent Coulson. I can be a powerful ally, but I can also be a formidable force. I'm not asking for a favor – I'm offering a partnership."

Coulson studies me for a moment, his eyes searching. "You're asking for quite a lot, Jason. Trust, protection, resources."

I nod, my resolve unshaken. "I'll earn your trust, Agent Coulson. I'll prove that I'm committed to protecting this world and stopping those who threaten it."

Coulson's lips curve into a small smile. "You're quite the negotiator, kid. Fine, I'll arrange a meeting with the director. But I'll be there too."

I extend my hand, a gesture of understanding and gratitude. "Thank you, Agent Coulson."

He shakes my hand, a mix of skepticism and friendliness in his gaze. "You've got guts, Jason. Let's see if you can back up your words."

As I leave the conversation, a weight lifts off my shoulders. I've taken the first step in securing my family's safety, in forging an alliance with S.H.I.E.L.D. But as I look to the future, I know that the challenges ahead will test my resolve, my abilities, and the bonds I'll need to build to protect those I love.
