Kapitel 195: Bliss

The next day Thane and I are heading back to the Oasis. CheeChee lands on my shoulder and offers his findings but I reach up and lightly scratch his tummy while shaking my head. I'm impressed. Even though we're in the middle of winter, he still manages to find food, even if it's only a little.

As we walk into the house, we're met with laughter and bickering. I take a moment to watch the scene before me, trying to burn the images, the sounds, the smells into my heart and soul. Every day was now a precious gift that was slowly disappearing.

Would they choose to reincarnate, or will this be the only time I have with them? Would I even recognize them if they did come back? Even if I did, they wouldn't be the same as they are now. They wouldn't have the memories and experiences that make them who they are today.

Forever is a lie, all we have is what's between hello and goodbye.

I'm baaaaaaack!!! I'm so sorry for being gone for so long but a lot of things.... happened. After hitting rock bottom, I stayed there for a while before slowly pulling myself up. Life isn't perfect and bad things will continue to happen but I choose to be happy. I've said it before, you can't control the things that happen to you but you can control the way you let if effect you. I'm back and working on new adventures and worlds to share with you. Let me know if you want a part two to this book. I feel like it could be be one hell of a ride if you know what I mean ;) I also want you all to know that your comments, gifts, and constant support was something I would go to in dark times. Your encuragement, your wishes, and kind words brought tears to my eyes more than once but it ignited the flame that had been snuffed out by life. You brought life back to my dreams and gave me strength. I can't ever tell you how much that means to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
