"Forgive me." Michael walked over to Gabby.
Gabby stopped chewing and narrowed her eyes, "I'm not mad, am I?"
Michael smiled a little then ruffled Gabby's hair, "So learn the right thing, don't keep playing games."
"This time I'm mad." Gabby took her head away from Michael's hand, "Go home, I'm going to sleep."

After delivering report cards to parents, their school would be closed for one week. During the holidays, Gabby was busy practicing karate with Coach Hendrik. After doing that, she would play over to Michael's house—annoying Michael, to be precise.
In the afternoon, Gabby was the daughter her mother wanted. She would practice doing math problems, reading textbooks and so on. Sometimes, when Gabby felt lazy or tired, she would go to Michael's house. Not to play but ask the boy to do her math problem.
