Kapitel 8: Trouble 2
Those laser-shooting beasts are not the only abnormal things that "spawn" out of the portal. An uncountable number of 4-legged bugs swarm out of the portal, falling to the ground.

Chaos ensures, Voidlings nibble on everything they see; imagine millions of insects biting you, but ten times worse. Unrecognizable corpses were strewn around, the reinforcers trying their best, escorting the citizens from the disaster. Fires are burning, buildings are crumbling.
Jayce, seeing the chaos, stood there in a stupor. Never in his life has he seen this severity of gores and chaos, heck he had not even killed a person yet. His legs buckled as he bends over and vomits. "WEEEEEEEEHHHH."
*Huff* *huff*, he couldn't breathe, the scene is just too much,
"Wait, MOM!"
He got out of his stupor, flies back into the mansion, trying to find his mom. When he enters the main hall, everyone gasps, and then fled away from him in panic.
He saw the reaction, knowing that he's still in Take Over mode but didn't care. The Take Over side effect is too severe for him to cancel, losing 90% at this moment will just be dead-end, he needs powers to get out of this alive.
He saw his mom, in the corner of the hall, trembling. Her trembling intensifies when she saw a red-scaled humanoid monster with wings, walking towards her. His heart aches, but he still walks to her. Everyone else, like cats seeing a lion, ran away, making a pathway.

Ximena's POV.
"Jayce...?" Ximena called out to her son; she was holding his son's hand when they were in the main hall. When the youngest daughter of the Kiramman family showed up, he told her that he needed to go to the bathroom. Before she could ask him anything, the boy ran out of the hall. Although worried, Ximena still let him go.
Several minutes had passed but she didn't see him back, worried, she was about to go and look for him but suddenly.
*RUMBLES*
*WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO*
She felt a massive tremble, like a massive earthquake, shaking the whole building. Then she heard the siren, as a citizen of PILTOVER, she knew what the siren signifies, a class-1 disaster. The hall suddenly turns chaotic.
"What's was that shock wave? What is happening?
"That's the class-1 disaster's siren."
"GUARD! GUARD! Take Caitlyn away and protect her with your life."
People yell in panic; they, the noble of the PILTOVER, have never experienced any situation like this before, so all they could do was hoard around toward the center, seeking shelter from the guard of the Kiramman.
Ximena was about to follow, but then the main hall's door swung open.
*silence*
Everyone, including her, stares at the monstrous figure at the door. The humanoid monster, with a height of 134 cm (4'5''), face covered with red scales, two pointy horns above its head, claw-like hands, and two dragon wings. The nobles, with fear and horror, fled further away from the monster as it approached.
Ximena saw the monster getting closer to her, and trembles. Although she knows that there are monsters in this world, this is the first time she sees one, so her fear intensified, closes her eyes, waiting for death to come.
"Mom, it's me."
Ximena's eyes fluttered wide open as she heard the voice, opening her eyes, she saw a resemblance of her son within the monster.
"Jayce? Oh, my Jayce, what happened to you?"
When she realized that the monster was her son, her fears flew away, she hurriedly opened her arms and hugged him. Tears stream down her face.
*END OF POV*

Jayce, feeling the warmth of his mother, couldn't help but release a sigh of relief. At least his mother is fine.
"Mom, no time to talk, I'll explain everything later, but we have to get out of here." Knowing there're existences outside that could threaten him, Jayce decided to flee with his mother to somewhere safe.
'Arcane Power: 3105/3805'
Although the entire process feels like an eternity, time has only passed by one minute. With calculation, he estimated that he got at least 6 minutes before his AP deplete. (-500AP/min).
Then, he gently hugs his mother's tender body, ready to fly away.
*RUMBLE* Another shockwave emerges, but this time at a higher magnitude.
