Kapitel 21: To Fear, To Love

Hannah's POV

Fear.

It's the one thing that plagues us all. It lurks in the corners of our minds, reminding us of what we dread the most. If left unchecked, it weakens the greatest of warriors and dulls the brightest of minds.

Fear is the enemy of man.

Yet fear was all I felt as I walked into the prestigious Sheraton Hotel.

Checking in at the reception, I held in a grimace as the receptionist handed me the key card to room 523. Lasisi had instructed me to meet him in that room – the exact place where our enmity was born.

The smug bastard.

Not letting my emotions get the better of me, I headed to the elevator – which was thankfully empty – and punched the button for the top floor. As the machine slowly climbed, I used the opportunity to gather my thoughts.
