Kapitel 2: Arrival and explanation
As soon as I fell through the portal, I fell unconscious not knowing where I'll end up. I soon felt heat on my body and tried to force my eyes to open.
I saw a blue sky with clouds in the air, and a large flying car heading towards somewhere. I moved my neck to get rid of the stiffness, then I moved my wrists.
Then my fingers, arms, legs, and torso. Once I had begun to move, it took me what felt like an hour until I could sit myself up and look at my surroundings.
I was at a place that looked like a junkyard with piles of metal and corpses around me, I was surprised because I couldn't smell any type of decomposing from the bodies.
I then decided to approach one of the corpses and search for some belongings, all I found were some weird chip's, a gun and what looked like an inhaler.
I understood what the chip's where for, but I didn't understand why the man had an inhaler in his pocket.
While I was still wondering about the inhaler, I noticed something behind the man's head, I moved it slightly and saw what looked like a Jack and two slots on the back of his head.
'Weird, what could these be for?' I soon heard a hiss of a snake and remembered that the God gave me a companion before I was transported to this world.
I then turned towards the snake and saw that it was entirely made of metal. The entire body was also black while the spine itself was exposed and had multiple holes on it.
The head had the figure of a king cobra, the underside had small flaps to help it move around.
The length of the snake reached two feet long and it was only a foot wide, I placed my hand near the snake, and it crawled up my arm and wrapped around my neck.
I continued to observe it, letting it slither around my body. I had to admit, I was impressed at how smooth it felt when it moved around my body.
I then placed my hand on the head, letting it gently nuzzle against the palm of my hand. I couldn't help but smile and how adorable it looked.
I then felt the snake insert something in the back of my head and a screen then appeared in front of me.
It soon started to tell me that the God took care of my Identity, birth certificates, and eddies, which was the currency in this world.
It then explained that I have a Jack to share information through a cable, and the two slots are used for gaining information, claiming ownership, and other uses.
It also explained that I already have 'chrome' in my body. I then paused the video and noticed that my arms are no longer organic and had cybernetic implants inside them.
I activated them, and out came two swords that were producing heat on the edges on the blade.
I then deactivated them and continued the video. It then went to explain the snake, as the God said it has the venom that I created to kill my targets.
The only difference is that it can be cured, but with how effective the venome is, they would be too slow to give the antidote.
I could also give it commands to seek out its target, even letting me see through its eyes.
It also can create more copies of itself, as long as there is enough iron to consume, they can also steal the chrome from corpses to upgrade itself to become more efficient and can use the chrome themselves.
I wanted to test it out so I told the snake to consume the Iron in the junk yard. It happily slithered off my arm, diving into a pile of iron.
As I waited, I soon heard the sound of metal being crushed, the sound of something groaning and snapping soon stopped, and out came the snake.
The pile began to shake once more, and a perfect copy soon appeared. Seeing the two, I called them back to me, which they slithered quickly.
But before they could reach my neck, they began to shrink in size, making sure I had enough room to breath.
I then continued the video to see if there was more information, and to say the least, the next part was what caught my attention.
The spine can launch multiple darts containing the venom, hitting a large group of people surrounding it.
Once the darts have been shot, they quickly dissolve to prevent any evidence to be traced back to the snake.
If anyone tries to hack the snake, the netrunner will be stunned for a whole day. What makes it even better, is that I can have it speak for me, meaning I don't have to worry about any cramps.
The video then explains that I already have a place to live, and I have a vehicle to get there. All I had to do was mentally call for it, and it will find the quickest rout to find me.
I then closed the video and made my way towards any road I could find, since the car couldn't just drive over any corpses and garbage.
Once I had found a road, I was confused on how I could call it. But I then felt something, as if I was holding a car key, I mentally pressed the call button, and waited.
After a few minutes it arrived, the car itself arrived. The body was slim, simaler to an American car, while the body was painted silver.
Once the car had stopped in front of me, I could identify that it was a Quadra type sixty sixty, avenger.
I was impressed on the technology that it had and wanted to test the speed. I slammed the gas pedal and felt myself being stuck to the chair.
It felt amazing, the speed on this thing was faster than the car from my old world, and the controls were smother to.
I then spent the next hour driving to the location of my new home, as I approached the city, I saw a sign with the words "Welcome to night city."
As I drove inside, I followed the directions I was given, and soon arrived at a district called Haywood.
Looking at the district, I could see it was an area for the middle to high citizens, and the buildings looked well maintained.
I soon followed the direscrions to my new home and saw the building. It had ten floors in total and the room I was staying in was at the top.
I began to drive around the building, trying to find a spot to park. I didn't want to ask the locals just yet, since some of them were eyeing the car with greed.
After a few more minutes, I had found the entrance to an underground parking lot. As I approached the entrance, I found a security guard waiting in front.
As he made his way to the drivers side, I took a few breaths to calm myself. I didn't want to leave a bad impression for her and look like a fool.
As she arrived, she gently knocked on the window. I rolled down the window and only glanced at her with a calm look.
"Please insert your jack, sir." She held up a small tablet in her hands, and a glowing port was seen.
I raised my hand, pulling on the import jack out and inserting it onto the port. The two of us said nothing, and I felt something invading my head.
The feeling soon disappeared, and I was able to pull the inport jack back into my hand. While the guard took a step back and bowed her head.
"Welcome to the Sakura shrine, please enjoy your stay." The gates began to rise, allowing me to enter.
I only looked forward and gently drove forward, as the gates closed behind me, o was able to follow the path.
I soon arrived at the parking area, and parked at the first open spot. After I parked, I exited the car and began to observe my surroundings.
Inside where other vehicles that looked expensive, some had gold rims others were like my car but were white.
I then made my way towards the elevator, I then pressed the call button, waiting for it to arrive.
As the elevator arrived, I observed what was inside. It was like any normal elevator, but it had glass to look outside.
As I pressed the button for the top floor, I was able to see outside. The buildings that were built, and the ones that are being built.
I couldn't help but admire how it looked, compared to down below, it was much more pleasing to the eye.
The view then changed to stone and metal, and the sound of a bell signalled the arrival to my home.
As I stepped off, I stood in front of a long hallway that led to a door, a door that blocked me to enter my new home, my new life.
I placed my hand on the door, and the sound of a click was heard. I pushed the door open and began to observe my home.
Inside the home was a large living room with the couch in the middle while the tv was in front of it.
The kitchen was to the side and had white tabletop and white cabinets. The stove itself was black with the oven being white, and the fridge had a see through glass, allowing me to see inside the fridge, inside it, there were already food stocked.
The bed was on the second floor and had a window viewing the entire city. I was impressed on the structure of the buildings.
I then had the two snakes guard the window and the front door incase anyone tried to break in while I'm asleep.
I then tucked myself in for the night and mentally prepared myself for tomorrow, wondering who my first target will be.
