Kapitel 7: New vampire in town

I quickly go to my father's office, not wanting to anger him. We don't have a close relationship since I took his mate's life, so he says. It's not a secret in our pack that he hates me. On the day of the red moon, when I was born, my mother died immediately after giving birth to me and whispering my name. My dad has hated me ever since. I finally understand why now that I have found my own mate. Losing a mate is the worst thing that can happen to a wolf. A mate is a wolf's life long partner and finding that person is a blessing.

I can already feel Ben through the bond but I'm not sure if he feels it too. I don't want to scare him after everything he just went through by telling him, he is bound to me forever. I remember how my wolf raged when we felt him get further and further away from us. I would've killed anyone in my path to get to him. When my wolf sniffed him, he calmed down. Its usually aggressive on the day of the full moon but with Ben it was gentle.

Outside my father's office, I take a deep breath and knock.

"Come in." His deep voice comes through. I open the door and I'm not surprised to see my Uncle, Morris, he hates me just as much as my father maybe more. He wants the position of Alpha but he knows he is not as strong as me. I'm even stronger than my father. If I wanted to take the position of Alpha, I would've challenged him and won.

"What's going on?" I ask as a take a seat. My father scowls at me.

"Dont you have respect for your Alpha and his second in command? " Morris hisses at me. I hide my smirk. I stand up.

"Greetings my King and Queen." I bow mockingly and sit down. "Now if you don't mind I'm in a hurry to do something important." My blood buzzes with excitement in the thought of Ben naked in my bed waiting and ready for me.

"Three humans were found dead this morning. Drained of blood. " I paled. "There were found near the end of our territory by Mateo and Sabastian during their morning patrol. They found a note in one of the bodies embedded on the chest by a silver blade with this note." Father pushed the note towards me.

I immediately recognized the smell of blood from the note. It was a white piece of paper and written in a beautiful neat writing was, 'Ben is mine'

My heartbeat sped up and I hit the desk so hard the wood split.

"No! He is fucking mine." This must be Damian.

"Come the fuck down." The Alpha growled. A part of my wolf immediately obeyed but the other part growled at being commanded by another Alpha. Father continued " this is an act of war. They are breaking the treaty over some human boy!"

"He is not just a human boy, he is my mate!" I said through gritted teeth.

"But still It doesn't make any sense why the vampire would risk everything for him." I thought that has been bothering me ever since I met with Damian came up.

"That reminds me. When i found him at Ben's apartment. He was a fledging, maybe 2 weeks old. The strange thing is he had a strong and old aura around him. You could perceive him as a vampire who's been around for centuries. I'm sure though he was turned only 2 weeks. There's something wrong with him."

"Mmh maybe we should consult a witch. I will call Adri...." the alphas phone rang and he answered it

"Yeah?" I listen to the male voice on the other side of the line who i assume is Nate, one of the the Alpha's trusted men.

'I just received news that Maximus is dead' My eyes widen. Maximus is the leader of the vampires in Vansfield. He is the one we signed the piece treaty with. He is the most powerful vampire I've ever crossed paths with but he was also wiser than most. It wouldn't be easy to kill him.

"What? Who killed him?" My father asked.

'My source says it's a new vampire called Damian. All the other vampires already fear him. He is dangerous.'

"Thank you for the information, Nate. When you hear anything else contact me"

'Yes Alpha'. Father hung up. Silence hung heavy in the office. This is not possible. A 2 weeks old vampire cannot kill an ancient old vampire like Maximus. There's something wrong here somewhere. Who is this Damian? I'm deep in my thought when Morris speaks. I forgot that he was here. He scares me some times. He acts like a vampire. Vampires are cunning and calculative whereas wolf's are ferocious and wild. Morris is always so quiet and observing, that's dangerous.

"This new vampire, how is he so powerful? When you fought him, how much power did he have?" Morris directs the question to me

"I didn't technically fight him. I just threw him off Ben and he crashed on the dining table. Then he ran off." I would've fucking killed him if he stayed for touching my mate. My hands ball into fists.

"Mmmh. I will have a meeting with the others to tighten up security and more Wolves to do patrols. The fact that they got so close to our territory without us detecting them speaks volumes. Aiden you are dismissed." I stand up

"Yes Alpha." I walk out of the office. I'm flaring with anger. What does Damian want from Ben? He is the one who cheated on him, still he wants him so bad. The threat on that paper is obvious. He will kill humans until he has what he wants. Over my dead body. I'm not giving up my mate over anything.

I meet up with Mike and Bannard to discuss about what I just heard from the Alpha.

"I will ask around the bar tonight. I'm sure someone knows of this Damian." Mike says.

"Yeah do that. I don't want any harm coming towards my mate."

Mike smirks "I see things are looking good between you too." He wiggles his eyebrows.

"Ooh shut up." I say half heartedly.

"Who opened the door for Ben?" We both turn at bannard who asked. I frown

"What do you mean?" I ask confused at his sudden question

"Think about it, Ben was locked up. The doors on our rooms aren't easily picked. So someone with a key opened from the outside. The question is who and why on the full moon?" I frowns thoughtfully. He is right. Ben couldn't have left on his own.

"You are right!" Exclains Mike. "And who ever that is chose the full moon cause we were all out back preparing for our run and we didn't notice Ben leaving."

"Yeah but it could be anyone. It's no secret that most people here hate me cause of my of curse. They probably wanted Ben to die in the woods." I mutter. "Who ever it is has a death wish." I look at the time shit it's 10pm.

"You are not cur..." Bannard starts to say but I cut him off.

I stand up. "I have to go." I leave them as we say our goodbyes. I really don't like taking about the curse. When I was growing up. Other kids didn't even want to play with me, except for Bannard and Mike. Bannard was always quiet even then.

Arriving at our bedroom. I realize I'm already referring it as ours, I smile at the thought. I find Ben laying on top of the covers. Ooh he has been waiting for me. He must've fallen asleep. I quietly open the covers and place him inside, he stirs and falls back to sleep. He is such a deep sleeper. I climb behind him and hug him from behing pulling his back flush against my chest. My groin stirs when my length presses between his plump ass cheeks. I groan getting hard. I hump him a little and he moans in his sleep and pushes his ass against my length.

This is going to be a long night. I bury my face in his neck. His scent is intoxicating.

Laying on the bed next to him is like a dream come true. He is everything I could've have ever wanted. Growing up I have already accepted that I was going to be alone forever. I thought because of the curse I was destined to be alone. Imagine my surprise when he bumped into me in the club and my whole world stopped. I was at lost of words. He was so cute standing there stuttering, his heart was beating fast. I wanted to bite his cheeks when he blushed. I knew his was the one for me.

Then I saw him again in the diner. It's like my heart led me to him. Then at the party again, I couldn't keep my hands off of him. He is going to be the death of me.
