Theodoric hugged his wife's waist and looked into her eyes. Then one hand brushed her cheek with a smile.
"Do not you really want to stay at Buckingham, my wife?"
Ivy shook her head. "I really do not want to stay there. Being in a place that is not mine does not make me feel comfortable, Theo. I am sorry."
He kissed Ivy's forehead and nodded at her. "Never apologize for something like that, Ivy. It is everyone's right to refuse. You refuse because you know what your comfort is like," Theodoric explained.
Hearing this, Ivy smiled in relief. She thought Theodoric would scold her. For on the way from Buckingham to Voxprime, Theodoric was silent.
"You do not mind if I go train my troops?" asked Theodoric.
"Nights like this? Theo, you are going to get sick later if you push yourself hard."
