"I thought she would rarely go to her mother's house when she had children. But it turns out, she still goes there? Huh?" asked Amelissa in an angry tone when she visited Voxprime and knew that Ivy and Derion went to Melanie's house.

Theodoric sighed as he listened to Amelissa's anger. He was supposed to be at his mother-in-law's house tonight, but because of her mother's presence, he had to postpone his departure. Even though he had promised Ivy he would be back as soon as he was done.

"Why should you allow her to, Theo? Tell her to spend time with Derion here! This is where Derion comes from, not from a slum village-"

"Mother, enough!" cried Theodoric, starting to get annoyed.

He immediately stood up and grabbed his sword and put it behind him. "I have to go. I already made a promise to someone and please stop your unsavory chatter."
