"What have you been eating? You look all grown up and tall!" Ian exclaimed as he pulled Lisbeth into a bear hug.
"But you're still taller," Lisbeth said in a muffled voice since Ian kept pressing her head down when she wanted to pull away.
"You seem really happy. I can't remember the last time I heard you laugh this way," His mother observed without taking her eyes off Becca.
"Yeah, my Valet makes me laugh a lot, don't you, Beck?" He asked Becca, who shifted uncomfortably under the scrutiny of both the queen and Lisbeth.
She couldn't help but wonder why both the queen and the young lady were looking at her so strangely. She had noticed the look on Lisbeth's face when she had just seen her, and she had also noticed how she had turned to look at the queen, had something happened in her absence?
"It's been so long since I last saw you. I've missed you," Lisbeth murmured when she noticed the awkward silence.
