Emilia lay on her stomach staring at the picture on her screen and the caption under it. The black and white picture was blurry and made it impossible for anyone to recognise her but her heart still felt still. If only for a moment, she could have been his girl in reality.

She cursed herself for her actions last night and wondered how she would face him this evening at the reception. But even as she dreaded it she also felt alive at the anticipation of seeing him.

Her swollen eyes seemed to sparkle for a moment. She would have one last chance to be in his arms tonight. When they would follow Amy and AJ into the official dance as a couple. And then...

She shook her head to disperse the thoughts. Today she was going to make memories that would last her a lifetime. She would not let any thoughts mar it for her.
