"I don't know what are you are talking about," Shi Xiaonian spat between gritted teeth.
"Miss Shi, if you really want to use your position as the child's mother to gain advantages, there is no need to deny. You might as well begin listing your terms right now while it's still possible. If young master's patience runs dry, you can forget about benefits and start worrying about your wellbeing instead."
Feng De spoke mildly but hints of threat were guised beneath his words.
{It's always this child; that child; his child!}
{How many times do I have to say it?!}
"I said no! How many times do I have to repeat that I have never given birth to that man's child? Not before and definitely not after. I'd rather die! Are you relieved now?!" Shi Xiaonian erupted, veins swelling near her temples.
{Come to think of it…}
An important thought struck her suddenly, driving her to ask, "By the way, do you happen to have any emergency contraception or morning-after pills?"
No birth control methods were used during the two occasions Gong Ou had interc*urse with her. She didn't want to unexpectedly get pregnant.
Feng De became a bit speechless. From what he had observed so far, she didn't seem like the type of woman to give birth and hide a child for benefits.
She wanted a contraceptive pill. Many women would willingly sacrifice anything in order to receive Gong Ou's seed and give birth to his child, but this woman was willing to throw away such an opportunity.
A gloomy atmosphere clouded the face of Gong Ou who was sitting outside on the balcony.
The woman's soft bre*sts that were tirelessly rubbing against his shoulder suddenly felt like sandpaper.
"Scram, why are you still rubbing me?! Do I look like dirty dishes to you?" Gong Ou rebuked before shoving the charming woman aside.
"Yes, Mr. Gong."
Xie Linlin moved to the side respectfully before directing a discreet glance towards the room's window. There was a trace of jealousy and unwillingness on her face.
{Did this so-so-looking woman actually provoke an emotion out of Gong Ou and even give birth to his child?}
She was confident of her looks and abilities in front of ordinary men, but in front of Gong Ou, she had never once eeked a single reaction out of him.
There were many eye-catching women around Gong Ou who came and went, just like everyday traffic. But now, one of them had given birth to a child. The position she wanted was getting harder and harder to attain.

The sun shone a golden hue upon the winsome forest and the towering walls of the imperial castle, casting a shadow which painted the building's might onto the green canvas.
Housekeeper Feng De stepped before Gong Ou who was sitting on the balcony before bowing his head respectfully, "Young master, I utilized various methods to interrogate Miss Shi..."
"I only want the results."
Gong Ou reclined into the rattan chair with a hand propping his chin. He spoke indifferently.
"The result of the polygraph test is that...Miss Shi is being honest."
{Honest?}
Feng De continued his report, "I'm confident that she didn't lie; did we happen to make a mistake of some sort?"
"Impossible!"
Going Ou darted from his chair before striding into the room with heavy steps.
In the room, Shi Xiaonian was slowly untangling herself from the polygraph chair's restraints, attempting to stand up, when suddenly:
Bang~
Gong Ou appeared and tossed her back into the seat. She fell backwards roughly, slamming her slim back against the chair which sent stabs of pain prickling through her spine.
"What are you doing?!" Shi Xiaonian bawled loudly.
"You ask me what I'm doing?" Gong Ou pressed her deeper into the polygraph chair, gripping her small chin between his slender fingers, "Shi Xiaonian if you have ears then listen to me closely, hand over the child or else!"
{Is this child paradox endless?!}
"Wasn't the test I took a polygraph? Then it should be clear that I didn't lie. You made a mistake, but not only aren't you apologising, you're still holding me captive," Shi Xiaonian spoke while struggling but her sitting posture could barely gather an ounce of strength to resist.
"Apologise? Let you go?" Gong Ou sneered, eyes flaming with madness, "Do you think I'd free you just like that, you liar?"
Let her go? What about his child— his own flesh and blood?
Even if the polygraph pleaded her honesty a thousand times, he still wouldn't believe it; he refused to believe it. This woman was most definitely lying!
I would've died of frustration in this situation.
