"Mother-in-law, please don't be ridiculous," Yuriko said as she helped Yuri with Old Madam Matsumoto.
"You are not feeling well, let me take care of you..."
In response, Old Madam Matsumoto sent a hand swiping across Yuriko's cheek.
"Unhand me! I would rather die than step another foot into that wretched man's house!!!" She cried out before she broke into a wail.
Watching from the side, Midori and Shinji could not help but cringe at the scene.
"Old Madam Matsumoto, please calm down," Midori quickly rushed to help.
"Mother, please. It's alright," Yuriko chimed in.
"No!" Old Madam Matsumoto stubbornly exclaimed. "I don't want to! I already said that I would never return to where that bastard is. Bring me back to my old house in Kyoto! Or, take me back to Ginza!"
Yuri and Yuriko exchanged helpless glances before they turned to look at Midori, who calmly replied, "But Old Madam Matsumoto, Old Master Matsumoto isn't even here."
