Kapitel 119: I Hate It

 From a far, I saw Carter was sitting at a table quite near from the restaurant window. Thankfully, he didn't choose the window seat because at this moment, I wasn't in the mood to sit a the same place that reminded me of the Incubus. Even at lunch time like this, he was busy scribbling something on a paper without paying any attention to the traffic around him. His gaze was fixed on the object—on the table with a serious face.

 I took a deep breath before continuing my steps towards him. I put on my fake sweet-smile as my feet sauntered over to the table. In fact, he only glanced at me briefly and continued his concentration on the object in front of him rather than me! wtf.

 "Hey, you're taking so long," he said nonchalantly without taking his eyes off.

 I pursed my lips getting this cold attitude. It seemed that my plans to approach him and find out what he was plotting for revenge would be in vain if he kept behaving like that.
