My voice was slightly caught in my throat, which caused me to hesitate, but after reaffirming what Fervis had initially proposed, her mouth curled into a smile as she led me further into the streets.

Before I could respond, Fervis frowned slightly before leaning into my chest as she embraced me tightly.
