Kapitel 41: Chapter 41: Waiting Takes Time

Felicity was tired of sleeping and eating to get strong. Where was Julian? Why hadn't he come back to help her get out of here like he promised he would?

She sat there staring at her sandwich and glass of water. The same d*mn thing day after day. Did Perry not know how to cook?

Oddly enough, she didn't remember ever seeing him cook a meal at the station. One of the duties each firefighter had to take on was feeding the crew. She couldn't remember Perry ever doing so.

Not that it mattered now.

She took the one hand that wasn't cuffed and smacked the plate off the table. It hit the wall with a boom, glass shattering everywhere. She half expected Perry to come rushing through the door to question the noise, but he never showed.

He must not be there. So, she was alone. Go figure and she couldn't escape no matter what she tried.

"Do you feel better now?"

It was Julian. About time.
