"Alright we're here, remember keep your eyes open for any monsters that these kids won't be able to handle, it's our job to take them out and make sure to rescue those who need it." The leader Henry said as they got out of the car before it drove away.
"Oh and I heard that there's two solos, so our work will be cut out for us." Henry added.
"Really out here? There's two solos out here? Ha, wait your serious." James laughed thinking that it was a joke but seeing their leaders serious expression, they knew he wasn't joking.
"Yep so let's get to it." Henry yelled at them before giving out tasks.
Meanwhile the buses carrying the students had stopped as everyone got off.
"Now you'll all leave from here, your safety bracelets can be used to call for help or if you wish to resign. So please and I can not stress this enough don't over estimate your abilities as even if you call for help there still is a delay." The teacher yelled at everyone.
"Furthermore you all will be taking this exam with other schools, each starting at different locations. But now that's all, you may start..... (Looks at watch) Now!"
As soon as the students heard the world now they ran off into the surrounding forest with their teams.
"Do your best Vic, after all I don't want to be attending school without you." Michael slapped Victor on the back before running away.
"I should say the same about you." Victor whispered to himself with a small smile.
"Now where should I start... how about this way." Picking a direction that many had not picked, Victor started to explore.
It wasn't long before he came across his first monster.
[ White Rabbit (Normal) - Lvl 5 ]
"Huh a rabbit, it should be easy enough."
Victor raised his hand before pointing at the Rabbit's head, a small magic circle appeared on the end of his finger before a sharp bone shard shoot out.
"Swech!" The bone directly stabbed straight into the rabbits head not even giving it a chance before it died.
[White Rabbit Killed + 15 XP]
Feeling a slight vibration from his wrist Victor looked down only to see that counter had appeared on the bracelet.
"Huh it keeps count of how many monsters we kill, then is the score we earn different depending on what monster we kill?" Victor thought before continuing walking forwards.
"Now then let's speed this up shall we..." Victor summoned forth his skeletons before controlling them to spread out and protect him while scouting for prey.
"Hmm, it's probably best to test that out." Victor closed his eyes before focusing his magic.
A black circle appeared on the ground before a single skeleton raised from it.
It looked no different from any of the weak skeletons around Victor in appearance however upon closer inspection you would find that it's body looked studier.
And it didn't shake as much when it moved.
Victor couldn't help but think but to earlier before the exam started.
Using a kitchen knife Victor cut the back of his arm lightly just enough to draw blood before dropping his blood down onto the magic Circle.
"Rise, Rise from your eternal rest, Rise from your slumber... I call you, I call you forth..." Victor started to chant according to the knowledge in his head, With every word the magic grew stronger.
"I Master Of Death bring you too the living once more! Rise and become my familiar and companion!" Violet's eyes couldn't help but narrowed feeling the magic fluctuations
'What is...' She thought too her self but stopped as she instead payed more attention to Victor.
"Come forth Undead serve your Master, your creator.. Your God!"
A light bluish purple light came from the Magic Circle as a figure started too appeared in the light.
"Oh my, now that's interesting." Violet said seeing what Victor had Summoned
It was a skeleton..... A normal skeleton....
"You did all that for a skeleton? But you can already summon a dozen without any of... well this." Michael asked dumbfounded.
"W-well I... just shut up." Victor's stone face turned a light pink in embarrassment, but he knew that this couldn't be all to it so he checked the skill again.
| Undead Familiar (Level ???) 1/1: Create a Undead Familiar upon the first use of the skill, Undead Familiar can be stored and resummoned for free |
"Is it really just a skeleton? But that can't be after all I got this skill from a Special Skill Book.." Victor muttered to himself.
"Well check the status on the thing and we'll know, after all you said it was a familiar right." Violet said as she inspected the skeleton closer.
'That's right it's a familiar so it has to have more too it than that.' Victor cheered himself up.
Familiars are the most important summon in any summoners Arsenal, as they are stronger than regular Summons or have unique abilities.

Victor showed it's status to Michael and Violet.
"Wow, this little guy has so much potential, yes granted it's super weak without any abilities but hey it can learn by itself!" Violet couldn't help but exclaim.
Coming back to the present Victor gave his Familiar it's first orders, he tried to control it like he did the other skeletons but it didn't work.
"You'll kill all the monster that are brought over to you." So Victor gave it commands instead but it just stood there...
"Hmm maybe it's because it's intelligence is too low and the command was too complicated?" Victor came to this conclusion so he started testing different commands.
Satisfied Victor brought over a monster with his skeletons for it to fight.
"Ok, simple command just kill it." As soon as the word kill came out of his mouth the familiar jumped into action.
Moving forwards with as much seed as it's body allowed it, when it reached its target it sent a hard punch to the small rabbits face.
Although it was without any technique or any real power it still managed to stun the distrated rabbit.
From there it continued to punch the rabbit till finally the rabbit well gave up and died.
"Umm ok.. it can use some work but hey it's better than nothing." Victor started to plan on how to use his new addition but came to the conclusion that he needed to test it's limits.
"Well I can do that as kill monsters for now let's work towards a better score." Victor controlled his weak skeletons to bring over monsters to kite than kill.
Meanwhile Michael was walking with a relaxed stride through the forest, his shield was on his back while the blade of his sword rested on his shoulder.
Whenever he came across a monster he just killed it with a quick slash.
"Man this is so boring, huh but I have to take this serious or I won't be able to keep up with Victor." Michael's entire demeanor changed, he was almost like entire different person.
He was no longer joking around but completely dead serious and it showed as he walked entirely with purpose.
As even though he looked lazy of the outside, anyone with experience could immediately tell that he was like a lion ready to attack and kill.
"Nothing out here is changing enough or will give me a good enough score... I better start dungeon diving." Michael concluded after killing a level 10 Goblin in a single slash.
After all the times Victor has pushed him and helped him advance, combined with the fact he turned his practice into actual combat experience, improved his technique past the any other student in the city.
Allowing his battle prowess too sore higher and making it a breeze to kill such weak Monsters he's fought already.
So Killing these monsters become quick and simple, especially after fighting their improved versions.
"By the looks of it Victor's starting to get serious." Checking his Xp count and seeing it constantly increasing he knew that Victor had started get serious at least.
"Let's get this over and done with as soon as possible, after all I don't like this feeling..." Michael clenched his first before releasing it.
"I feel strangely weaker when I'm not with Vic... it must be a side effect of our pact only just being made.." Michael's attention was taken by the sound of something flying through the air.
Dodging to the left a small arrow flew past him.
"Oh? Well you guys can't just wait can you huh?" Michael's eyes glowed in a menacing light as he turned to a group of 6 goblins.
"Well let's have some fun!" Yelling in excitement Michael charged forwards with high speed causing the Goblins to panic but it was too late as He closed the distance.
He sent a single horizontal slash in front of him as he bent forwards, using his momentum and strength, three goblins lost their heads.
"Screech!" Seeing this the other Goblins panicked and shook in fear before trying to run away.
"Too late.." but a voice came from behind them as Michael stabbed forwards through the chest of the closest Goblin.
Before pulling it out and spinning to the right, using the force generated by the spin he cut half way into the goblin attacking him from behind.
Seeing that everyone else was dead the last goblin dropped it's bow and started running.
"Oh not so fast..." Michael pulled out his throwing knife before sending it into the back of the last goblin.
"Screech! Screech!" It fell over onto the ground and cried in pain.
"Man if Vic was here it would have been so much easier." Michael talked to himself before stabbing down with his sword finishing off the dieing goblin.
"Now let's go find a dungeon, it'll be so much quicker than just finding monsters. Man with Vic I wouldn't have to worry about finding monsters or the amount just how to tain while fighting them... Sigh." Michael complained briefly showing his lazy side.
