Arianell saw the man going down the stairs and ran to join him. He quickly turned around and caught her approaching body before she could trip and hurt herself.

"Don't run, I will go to you if needed…"

"Good job, today!" She patted him on the head caringly. "If you endured another 5 seconds, it would make two full minutes!"

Luan grimaced. Even that short time was an eternity already. The nobles screamed their names and rushed to shake his hand, but he couldn't remember a single face or title. Everything was like a sea of mud that tried to bury him alive.

But her touch was so rewarding, he thought it wasn't so bad to go through it.

"There is still a parade to the castle… You should stay with Vincent and Gant until I return…"
