King Davin drowsily awoke and as part of his morning routine, reached out for signs of life. He searched both sides of himself for signs of life. His hands were met with cold sheets.
The king sighed, 'Again! There goes my morning…'
"Dear, what have I said about leaving before I wake up?" the king groaned over the mind link while searching for her location. Her scent in the room was faint as well. Unlike that time at the Great Arena, the Queen of Sirius was nowhere near him either.
King Davin had already determined her position… and it was too far for his drowsy body to get to. The Queen's angelic voice echoed in his mind as a hearty laugh and with came the king's relaxation, "I tried to wake you but you slept like a log. Then I realised, 'You've been working hard. You needed your rest.'
I've placed your best suit by the dresser. Have you already forgotten what day today is?"
