Kapitel 44: The last vision

Not long after, they returned to the house of Adams, who called a doctor to visit them as it was not safe to take the young woman to a hospital. It would be suspicious.

-"It's just a bruise. It will hurt for a few days, but it's not serious".- was the diagnosis.

-"Thank you doctor".- The man nodded and left after prescribing a medication in case the pain worsened. -"Maybe it's better if I go."-

-"It's too late. I'll ask my driver to take you."-

-"no, it is not necessary. I can go by bus".-

-"I wouldn't be a gentleman to allow that. Or at least stay tonight. I have a guest room."-

-"I don't want to be a bother".- She wasn't sure if it was the best thing to stay there.
