You stop talking. You take a sip of water. "That's all," you say. "Thank you."
There is a moment of silence. Then, a few people in the crowd start applauding, followed by a few more. A couple of people come on stage to shake your hand and squeeze your shoulder. Eugenie is trying to spin your talk firmly in her favor, but you can see the annoyance on her face.
