"What better plan and key address is that?" Rochester halted and looked back at his mother. They were inside the study room. It had been a rash decision to have her come into his at all: Isabelle.

Rochester did not like that his house was slowly becoming a free place for all. "You had your way with Samantha, mother. Not her sister either. I will not permit you the luxury this time around."

"What are your fears?" Eloise ignored his irritated glare and sank her butt into one of the chairs in the room. "If I remember correctly, you started this charade: this madness. Wasn't it you who first turned your house into some charity organisation? It was all you, Dexter. Not me."

"What is your point?"

"My point is Hazel should never have come into your life or your house."

"Now that is different."

"Different, how?"

"Hazel is expecting my child. But not Samantha. And having Isabelle here as well just doesn't make any sense. She leaves by sundown."
