Kapitel 103: Chapter 103: Bloodline Evolution?

"Brother Rasa gifted me 300 ryo of gold."

"Good man, Kakuzu contributed 400 million Ryo in bounties."

"A miscellaneous portion of magnetic fluid..."

Upon returning to Konoha, Hyuga Satoru tallied his recent gains with a satisfied smile.

Now, I'm also a multi-millionaire.

I won't have to worry about money, at least for a long time.

The world still has many good people, after all! Satoru couldn't help but feel gratified.

The reason he could so easily manipulate Kakuzu and the bounty house was because he exploited the information gap. He clearly understood how the bounty house operated and was well aware of Kakuzu's character. The fleece could only be shorn once; Kakuzu took the fall this time. If he tried the same trick again, everyone would suspect something was wrong.

With so much startup capital, the construction of his lab could finally begin. Previously, he had used Orochimaru's unused lab, which was never truly his. Its concealment wasn't the best, making secret research somewhat restrictive.

If he established his own lab, there would be no such issues. The Tenseigan project and the large-scale removal of the Caged Bird Seal could all commence.

Satoru's gaze turned cold. Once this war ends, it will be time for the clan's revolution!

The reason for choosing the end of the war as the timing was because launching a revolution now would undoubtedly cause internal and external turmoil in Konoha.

During wartime, Hiruzen and Danzo might see him as an unstable factor. After all, if they knew he had already broken free from the Caged Bird's control, the Hokage's attitude towards him would definitely change. It would be akin to a sharp sword losing its restraint. At that point, defection might be the only option.

After the Third War ends, Konoha will be in a very delicate state. The village will be rebuilding and recovering from war losses, and it will be unable to afford internal strife. Hiruzen Sarutobi would likely choose tolerance, accepting a renewed Hyuga clan. That's what he wanted. He desired reform, not defection.

Taking a deep breath, Satoru began analysing the current war situation. The Sand Shinobi had ultimately been defeated. They would need at least ten years to recover from this loss. Konoha's biggest enemies now were the Stone and Cloud Shinobi. These two villages were the strongest after Konoha. Due to their geographic location, the most aggressive was the Hidden Stone Village, separated only by the Land of Grass. Before the war, Satoru had eliminated their advance troops in the Land of Grass.

Although the Hidden Cloud Village was domineering, it was far from the Land of Fire, separated by several countries. The battlefield was also quite distant and did not affect Konoha for now. As expected, the Hokage would likely deploy him to the Stone Shinobi battlefield. The Hidden Mist side was relatively quiet, with many Uchiha clan members sent there, possibly as a balance. The Uchiha were hard to control, unlike the Hyuga. Deploying them to remote battlefields could suppress their merits; even if they accomplished something extraordinary, it wouldn't be widely publicised.

Famed ninja like Shisui Uchiha were only occasionally heard of, unlike Minato or Jiraiya, whose reputations were widespread.

...

Sure enough, that afternoon, Satoru received his orders. He was to join the main force to support the Stone Shinobi battlefield.

Before departing, he treated himself to a bowl of Ichiraku Ramen, savouring the rare peace. No matter how fierce the battles outside, this tiny ramen shop seemed like another world, never ceasing to serve its noodles.

Increasingly, Satoru believed in the rumors about Otsutsuki Teuchi. Should he abduct the smiling old man or his daughter for research? As he pondered, a delighted voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Satoru! I didn't expect to see you here!"

Turning around, he saw Might Guy, drenched in sweat, panting as he sat beside him.

"Hmm... Guy? Didn't you go to support?"

"I did. I just got back yesterday. I didn't want to waste time, so I trained a bit. You don't mind, do you?" Guy said, pointing to his sweat-soaked clothes.

"Doesn't matter," Satoru shrugged.

"Honestly, I can't believe you're so strong now!" Guy said, swallowing his ramen. "Our battlefield has seen many casualties among our peers, but you, Satoru, there are rumours you defeated the Fourth Kazekage."

"Sort of. His abilities were just countered by mine."

Guy suddenly fell silent. "Freak!"

"We graduated at the same time, yet you're so unscientifically strong, even defeating a Kage..." Guy exclaimed. "Seems I'm not working hard enough! After this, I'll do 50 laps around the training ground on my hands!"

Satoru initially wanted to warn him about exercising after eating, but seeing Guy's enthusiastic expression, he swallowed his words.

"By the way, Satoru!" Guy suddenly leaned in, his face serious, and whispered, "Is there really such a thing as Universal Magnetic Release?"

...

Such a question. I am just thinking about it.

"Yes, I did awaken Universal Magnetic Release," Satoru replied seriously.

"Hiss!" Guy gasped. "I knew your Magnet Release wasn't simple!"

He stopped fretting and continued devouring his ramen. Satoru, on the other hand, began contemplating. The Magnet Release abilities he displayed in this war were too terrifying, completely outclassing conventional Magnet Release. Recently, there have been many debates about his Magnet Release. Should he officially name it? To prevent further discussion among ninjas.

What should it be called? The Universal magnetic release did not seem imposing enough, but the electromagnetic release was accurate but too straightforward… Is it a Kekkei Genkai or a Kekkei Tōta? How about Bloodline Evolution?

Saves the trouble!

"Satoru, are you heading to the Stone Shinobi battlefield?" Guy suddenly asked.

"Yes, why?"

"Kakashi is there too!" Guy sighed. "But he's changed so much, I almost don't recognise him."

Since Satoru publicly defeated him last time, Kakashi seemed like a different person. His personality wasn't as extreme, but he became more reclusive.

Several times, Guy tried to talk to him, but Kakashi ignored him. Damn, those nasty rumours! Kakashi wasn't a crybaby, nor did he kneel and beg Satoru for mercy! Guy fumed at the thought.

Satoru's mind drifted away, his brows furrowing slightly. Kakashi had changed a lot? After defeating him last time, he hadn't heard much about him. It seems his involvement caused unexpected changes. Interesting! Obito is also on the Stone Shinobi battlefield, right? That future big boss.

Suddenly, Satoru felt this mission to support the Stone Shinobi battlefield would be quite intriguing.
