Kapitel 31: The king has returned

The captain of the king's planet research center stood rigidly at attention while he waited for the members of the galactic council to disembark their shuttle.

A cold sweat was trickling down his back as he struggled to maintain his facade of military decorum in the face of what would likely be his undoing.

In spite of the fact that the facility had done its job and immediately informed the council of the development. The council members would still be upset by the lack of follow-up information the captain had available.

Once the luxurious silver star cruiser docked, 12 men in opulent robes and garish jewelry stepped down from its ramp and made a B-line for the captain.

The captain could tell from the looks on their faces that they were flustered, but they weren't outright murderous yet so...maybe he had a chance?
