After dinner, Valerie and Ruby settled into the plush couch in the living room, engrossed in their favorite TV show. The soft glow of the screen illuminated their relaxed faces, as they shared a comfortable silence.

Greg soon emerged from their room, carrying the other shopping bag he had brought home earlier. A hint of a satisfied smile played on his lips, as he made his way over to the couch.

"This is your reward," he said, his voice filled with warmth and appreciation as he handed Valerie the bag.

Valerie's curiosity was piqued. As she stretched her hand, holding the bag, Greg lightly brushed his fingers against hers, in a subtle but deliberate manner.

She felt a spark of electricity at the touch. Valerie's cheeks flushed a deep pink as she quickly snatched the bag from Greg's hands, her eyes sparkling with a mix of curiosity and embarrassment. She didn't want to relive the moment in the kitchen.
