Kapitel 21: Doors of opportunities for her parents

"Holy crap! What the hell!" James shrieked at the sight of the mess in Greg's office when he pushed the door open.

At the sight of the broken bottles, the wasted drinks, and blood flowing from Miss Catherine's injured arm, Greg's eyes darkened.

He shifted his gaze and it fell on Ruby, who was holding a bloodied shard, fear etched on her face as she stared back at him.

Greg's brows furrowed slightly before crossing the threshold and walking towards his daughter with a heavy and intimidating aura.

Ruby shrank back, wanting to disappear. Her father looked very angry.

"U – uncle Greg, I didn't do it." She began to quiver under his intense stare.

Her small heart was almost about to explode from fright. What if her daddy doesn't want her anymore?

Miss Catherine was stunned, didn't the child say Greg was her father? Was she only playing with words? Then, what was the use for her cutting herself? She thought Greg was her father!
