Valerie and Mr. Dominic rode in silence, their cart gliding smoothly across the sprawling farm. The rolling hills and lush fields stretched out before them, a testament to the farm's vastness.

As they navigated the winding paths, Mr. Dominic broke the silence. "You accused me wrongly, Valerie," he said, his voice measured. "You owe me an apology, don't you think?"

Valerie's gaze remained fixed on the horizon, her expression unreadable. The warm breeze rustled her hair, but her shoulders remained tense.

Her eyes flicked toward Mr. Dominic, her gaze piercing. "I'll apologize when I'm convinced I've wronged you," she said, her voice even.

Mr. Dominic's eyes crinkled at the corners, amusement dancing in his eyes. "I see," he murmured. "Then I suppose we have a few days to convince you." He paused, his gaze sweeping across the landscape.

"Until then, you and your team will be my welcomed guests," he continued, his tone hospitable.
