Kapitel 37: CHAPTER 37: REAL AND FRUSTRATING
" Hey, you are still in the underworld, right?" Yang Liu suddenly asked, whisking her to the present.
"Yes. Why do you ask?"
"You can help us in finding Katana easily." Yang Liu suggested, earning a fit of coughs from her best friend.
" Hey, are you okay?" She asked as she patted Zhao Xia's back and handed her a glass of water.
"Yeah am fine." Zhao Xia managed to answer.
"So about Katana? Will you help us find her?"
"I will try to find out from the base about her whereabouts."
Damn, she felt bad for lying to her best friend but what choice did she have? To protect herself, to protect her bestfriend's relationship and to protect her family, she had to lie to someone she never thought she would lie to. Life sometimes can be very cruel.
" Thank you, Xia. Sooner or later, we will get that bitch in our hands." Yang Liu exclaimed.
Zhao Xia gave her a weak smile. "Yes, we will." 'Because that bitch is standing in front of you.'
After the house tour, they both prepared lunch and ate while sharing stories about what's going on with their lives.
At five p.m, Zhao Xia stood at the entrance as she bid the couple goodbye before boarding her car. "I will visit again soon.Bye."
After she left, the couple stood outside for some time until the two cars disappeared completely. Huan Kai suddenly scooped her up and carried her inside. " Time to continue our fun, baby." He whispered seductively near her ear causing tingles of excitement to run down her spine. He carried her till they reached their bedroom. He shut the door with his leg, laid her on the bed and kissed her hungrily. Yang Liu had not been lying when she said that they were going at it like bunnies in heat.

When Zhao Xia arrived home, she immediately went to her bedroom. She needed to organize her thoughts before telling anyone of what she had discovered during her visit to her bestfriend's house.
She opened the door to find her husband lying on the bed with his eyes closed and one of his hands resting on his forehead. She approached him silently and joined him in bed, hugging him from the side.
He stirred slightly and opened his sleepy eyes. " Hey, sweetheart." He greeted as he kissed her forehead and hugged her.
"Let's sleep for a while." Zhao Xia suggested as she closed her eyes and settled herself in her husband's arms.
"Okay." He answered as he too, drifted off to dreamland.

The next time they woke up, it was almost 9:00pm. Zhao Haoran woke up first and looked at the time before waking up Zhao Xia. "We missed dinner with the family."
"We can just have it ourselves." Zhao Xia answered as she stretched and yawned. " I need a shower." She added as she got off the bed and headed to the bathroom.
She stopped by the bathroom door and turned to look at Zhao Haoran. Feeling her gaze, he looked at her." What's wrong?"
"Will you shower with me?" She asked.
Zhao Haoran was stunned to silence before removing his shirt and walking towards her.
"You don't even have to ask." He said as he picked her up and closed the bathroom door behind them.
An hour later, the two made their way downstairs. They thought the family members had already retired to sleep since it was past ten pm,but they were still up. Technically, the brothers were still up but the parents had gone to sleep.
"What are you guys doing still awake?" Zhao Xia asked as they both sat on the dining table joining the others.
"We are waiting for the basketball game at 11:00."
"Oh....okay." She answered as a maid served the couple dinner.
"Lil siz did something happen during your trip to your bestfriend's house?" Chang Kim asked.
Zhao Xia looked up. "Why do you ask?"
"Because you look stressed."
" I do?"
" What happened?" Chang Hou asked.
She sighed. It seemed that she couldn't hide it from them. " I know the reason why Huan Kai wants to find Katana."
"Why?" Zhao Haoran asked.
" Revenge."
"For what?"
" Someone killed his family by torching their house when his parents and little sister were in there.He was only six years old at that time but he wasn't around. It seems that there was evidence he found about the person who torched the house. But the thing is, I was only 2 at that time, so it is possible that there was another woman who identified as Katana or dressed like her. Huan Kai is only after a woman named Katana and it is me. I couldn't have killed his family so there was another person who did it and put the blame on me."
"That's just.... wow." Chang Jing said at a loss of words.
" We have to talk to mom and dad about this, tomorrow first thing in the morning. Maybe they have answers." Zhao Xia said as she ran a hand through her hair. This shit was getting real and frustrating.
" So technically, Huan Kai thinks that Katana, as in you, is the person who killed his family, right?"
"Yes."
" So that means that when he accidentally meets you as Katana, he will kill you instantly."
"Yes."
"Then he will take your life without knowing that he has mistaken you for someone else." Chang Lim spoke.
" Yeah... that's what I fear. And if it happens, it will cause a rift in his and Yang Liu's relationship and I don't want that." Zhao Xia sighed.
