"I don't know what anyone has done to you to make you feel that I will look at you differently in the future, but I would kindly ask that you do not group me with what others have done. You said you would enjoy me courting you. That you would get to gloat about it in the future. You didn't become annoyed with me like you were with Logan. What has changed?" Rafael asked. 

Annalise didn't know what had changed other than the fact that she was starting to feel more guilty about knowing why he should stop liking her, but she couldn't tell him. He shouldn't waste his time on someone who was going to leave soon.

When Thomas returned, she was going to leave without a word. She didn't need Rafael trying to stop her or having to experience tearful goodbyes with her friends. Rafael was wasting his time trying to court her. As much as she liked the gifts and enjoyed having the enemy fall for her, she had to let it stop.
