Kapitel 6: How Villains Are Made
Everyone looked shocked as the knight's body fell backward from Haku. The head rolled to the feet of Alphaeus before its eyes slowly moved to look at Alphaeus.
"K-Kenny." the weak and shaky voice Haku said as he looked up to see Alphaeus' silhouette being bathed by the sunlight coming through the thrown room's cracked windows.
"HAKU!" Amy and Rika ran toward Haku's body; Amy immediately started healing him while Rika rocked his semi-conscious body back and forth. Rika scooted her body up and picked up Haku's head before making him stare into her eyes. Haku opened his eyes and smiled at her happily. Rika instantly started crying after seeing this.
"You're alive! Omg, you alive!" as Alphaeus heard those words and saw the girls all over Haku, a vein on the side of his head bulged as he watched them fawn all over the same man who was almost defeated while he was treated as if he wasn't even there.
'Why! Why!? WHY?! What am I doing wrong?! WHY WON'T YOU ALL PRAISE ME EVEN ONCE!!! WHY DO YOU ALL RECOGNIZE HIS ACHEAVEMENTS BUT NOT MINE!!?!???' Alphaeus' Grip on his weapon tightened as he stepped toward Haku's healing body. His smile was gone entirely, and he almost seemed to be in a trance.
'Why? Why? Why? Why?! TELL ME!' Alphaeus took another step towards Haku as he spun the blade before he snapped out of his trance. A hand touched his shoulder before a fist softly bumped his chest. Alphaeus looked down before looking to his side.
On his side, touching his shoulder, was Des. "Kenji, who would have known you had such an amazing trump card in the chamber!" Des laughed smugly as he looked at Alphaeus before extending his fist for a bump. Alphaeus obliged and bumped it as a smile crept across his face.
Alphaeus looked down at the person in front of him to see none other than Liliya with her devilish smiling face staring up at him. "I can damn near predict the future, and the whole time, I never even knew you were going to show up. I only saw the worst outcome, and that was Haku dying. He he he... GOOF JOB KENNY" Alphaeus' hair kinda moved out of the way of his eyes. As he heard these words, He felt as If he was still in the dark, but light shined down on his soul.
"Thank you so much, guys. What about the other heroes? How come you were the only ones that made it up here?" Alphaeus was patting his head, and he couldn't believe he had such horrible thoughts about his friend earlier.
"Oh well, all the rest besides one are cleaning up the rest of these clan members around the castle. Tyler, for some reason, never woke up, which doesn't make sense. No one could sleep through this!" Liliya proclaimed as she looked back at the knight's body before looking away.
"Someone could have died.." Liliya said as she looked at the ground before she felt a hand touch the top of her head. Des placed his hand on her head to comfort her as Alphaeus melted his dagger into a crown and put it on his head.
"Don't worry if you stay close. I won't let anything happen to anyone from this point forward. I'll get stronger! Even is stronger than Haku!" Des proclaimed; Alphaeus looked annoyed as he watched him blink about getting stronger. Alphaeus smacked the top of his head before walking away towards Haku.
"Then don't just say it. Could you do it? Grand-fractura is a great ability, but you can't hope it will save you every time. Gain actual skill!" Des nodded his head as Alphaeus finished his speech and walked away.
"Ay, you! Mr promising Hero!" Alphaeus looked down at Haku while the girls were still next to him. Rika gritted her teeth before jumping up in Alphaeus' face.
"Get the hell away! Who do you think you are-" A loud smack rang across the room. The room grew silent as Rika turned her face towards Alphaeus, holding an angry look while her hand rested on the same area on her face that had just been slapped.
"You think you have the right to come barking at me when you couldn't protect him? Do you or Haku know that lives are at stake, not just the people around you but your own?" Alphaeus grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and pulled her towards him, and she instantly started sweating as she noticed that she couldn't pull away from him no matter how hard she tried.
"Fuck you, Kenji!" she screamed in his face; Alphaeus instantly recoiled slightly as a disgusted look grew on his face before he pulled his hand back once again.
"Kenny, stop. I understand what you are getting at, and I also see the error in my way! I thought this would be like the novels and the mangas I used to read in our world, but I now see that this is real life, and sometimes the powerups we get won't be enough to defeat the enemy we are against. I'll strive to be better, and I'll work harder! So that you won't have to come and save me or anyone else! Because I'll be there!" Haku stumbled to his feet; his face looked utterly repaired, and he returned to his handsome-looking self. His skin almost glowed as the sunlight hit him.
Alphaeus couldn't help himself but be be live his words. Haku has never let him down in the past and he could feel that he truly meant every word that came out of his mouth.
Blam!-
Alphaues punched him in the chest sternly with a smile on his face, his hair slightly moved out of his face and showed his face. The three girls apon seeing his face all three blushed. Being it there first time ever seeing his complete face.
"Ill hold you to every word you just said. And if you fall short or if I ever see you give up or loose again there's gonna be big problems between me and you.!" Alphaeus told Haku sternly Haku winced in pain as he felt the punch through his chain meal armor he had on.
"Geez man u understand. When the hell did you get that strong?" Haku honestly wanted to kow but Alphaeus smiled at him and turned away.
'Thruthfully I'm not strong. With the right techniques anyone can hit with the force of three elephants' Alphaeus thought to himself as he looked away from everyone. Many questions started to arise within all the heroes heads that was present in the thrown room at this time.
"Alright the battle is not necessarily over. Its time to do clean up around the castle… also rebuilding is gonna be a bitch for when this is finally over. " Alphaeus proclaimed as he walked towards the destroyed wall. He jumped up and perched on the wall as he looked down to see the fight still carying on within the castle and outside the castle. He watched as a horse got blown up and everyone with a wagon started getting attacked before the heroes ran over and blew the entire wagon to smithereens.
"Uh who ever finds the king him to summon all the heroes in the thrown room once the battle is finnaly over. Also if you end up outside please help with damage control frkm the other heroes because it looks like most of them don't know what the fuck to do." Alphaeus scratched his head as he turned back towards the inside of the thrown room to see everyone agreeing with every word that came out of his mouth. A genuine smile spread across his face as he seen them all actually giving him the respect he believed he deserved
"What about the knights?! There strong how will we defeat another one if we run into it?" Haku asked before Liliya opened her mouth.
"Theres no other knight like the one you just fought. He was the whole reason me and Des had rushed up to the top floor. I was able to use my ability to not only tell where he was but to sense how dangerous he was." after hearing Liliya speak about the reason they came all the way to the throne room Des nodded as he smiled at Marx, Rika, Amy, And Haku.
"Wow that ability of yours really is useful in many ways. We wuld have actually been in some trouble if Des didn't get here with you and by us some time with his ability." Marx said as he crossed his arms. All of them turned there head back to the wall that Alphaeus was perched on but he was no longer there. Rika and Liliya ran to the wall and looked over it to see him running down the wall before jumping on a pole
And Sliding down before jumping off the pole and landing on a wall next to the castle that was surrounded by men shrouded in Cloaks with the same symbols on them as that knight had on his armor.
"Lets get a move on aswell we can't leave Kenny doing all the work." Haku said as he looked at the rest of them. He had already made it to the door leading out of the throne room.
"SPACIAL EXPANSION" in seconds in the area that Alphaeus held his hand out at all gravity was lost before everyone of the Clan memebres was thrown into the wall and crushed under an imaginary force. Alphaues held his hand as he smiled after successfully using his new move for the first time.
"Clean up on aisle six."
